Hi, welcome to ShuoshuoChinese 说说中文; my name is Shuo, I’m a native Chinese teacher living in Bangkok, Thailand, I’ve been teaching Chinese as a foreign language for more than 10 years and I’m also a language learner.

Fun fact, medicine can be used after expiration date. There are just a handful of ones that are not good after expiry date (liquid antibiotics, aspirin, nitroglycerin and insulin) but most of them are ok even if they are expired

This was really useful, and having the characters at the top of the screen was so much better as I can’t actually not look at them if I don’t want to! At the bottom I find I can’t not read them, so I cheat, as my reading is better than my listening. Great lesson!

Please make more lessons like this. I could see a series of daily vlog videos where you're talking about items and having the words of what it is on the screen actually helps. This is a fantastic tool. Please do more. The emoji's help as well for figuring out what it is. However, I'm not allowing my tool of a crutch of English subtitles. Otherwise, my brain is always going to be looking for an object to help itself.

笑一笑十年小。 Your lessons always make us smile, and learn faster. Of the items to move or not -keep the exercise equipment and dump the rest. Only keep the 20% of the clothes you like the most and give the rest away!😂

I’d throw them all out, or donate to a charity, if one is available. Moving is so much easier without extra, unneeded items. I could understand a lot of the video-sometimes didn’t know what specific words meant, but could get the general meaning. Thanks.

Take the weights & Yoga mat, books and cleaner. Weights and Yoga mat can be used when bored, books for peace of mind, and the cleaner will come back in handy when you get lazy again...
