Its a 6 speed i own one! the 6th gear is great it just cruises at 75 low rpms.

I've got an 09 and mine is a 6 speed. Engine is still the 96 cub, hasn't had any work. When I bought it, the only things done were screaming Eagle air intake and Vance and Hines big radius exhaust. Police defected exhaust for noise so standard pipes on it now. Sounds like a bloody moped scooter. Chopped it's nuts off they did.

My clutch pulls ever so nice. Tousely Sports Center did a great job with the shifting portion of the bike. One of the guys is a big Harley fan. Apperently he know's his s&$#. ;-)

I have to say, the only thing I don't like about mine is the speedo. It's too plain and rather cheesy. The options are minimal and only visable one at a time.

Are these salesmen for real ? They are like salesmen are today with bikes that has computers in them with software that has different kind of electronic tech you can enable disable with a lot of controls on the handlebars and things to learn when it is your first ride on a motorcycle with complicated tech stuff, but these guys has stuff to go through on a 2009 soft-tail ? Haha, what a joke. Its a cruiser with 2 wheels, a handle-bar and brakes, that its it lol :P And what is this that you have to ride after someone that works there to be able to testride a bike ? That is the stupidest thing I have ever seen, is that because they do not trust their customers to come back with their bikes after a testride ? Or after he demonstrated like a moron how you brake with a motorcycle and how many gears it has (he was even wrong about that) and basically how you ride a motorcycle, he tags along because he still does not trust you that you can ride a motorcycle and he has to lead you around ? HAHA LOL! Never in my life have I had to ride with someone that works at the store when I testride a bike, not at Harley, not at any other store. And I have test-ridden motorcycles for up to 30 000$ before. One bike I test-rode for 30k I bought when I came back after a 30 min test-ride. If I had to ride behind a salesguy from the store like in this video, I would never even testride the bike and DEF not buy the bike. I would say "Thank you, but no thank you, I will go to another store where I am not taken for a moron." What a joke. Even filling out that very detailed paper before the test ride, at all the stores I have tried bikes out, I just show them my license, they take it and they themselfs at the store fill out a paper for 5 secs , then I just write my hand signature and within 3 min I am out test-riding the bike , ALONE. This store is truly a joke I have never seen/heard anything like it.
