Test riding the Fat Bob and Low Rider ST!

Finally test riding the fat bob and low rider ST along with a street glide special and road king special! These are a few bikes that ive been eyeing since starting this job and im so glad we got clear skies to test ride them!

@@tayterrell maybe try some courses. You need to use clutch more in 0-1 way. Avoid riding like shown in vid. There is no need to press the clutch half way, this causes main damage due to slipping. In vid when you start you practically hold the clutch through first 3 gears. Remember: clutch is lava 😅. So fully release much earlier, avoid half-way clutch, do not press the clutch if not needed. Just relax left hand :) try watching some pros' on board, compare the clutch usage and you should capture the difference.

Best way to pick is to be honest with yourself in terms of the type of riding you see yourself doing. The ergonomics can be tailored. If you don’t see yourself throwing down 500 mile days, go with a softail for sure. The low rider st is a great do it all option but will need to make many more mods than the fat Bob it seems.

When you look into touring - compare the Street Glide & Road Glide. I traded a VROD for a Road Glide this past December and I love it. And nope, I don't tour often - mostly ride around town and with my club. But I wanted to be able to travel comfortably when I do. I LOVE the ride...and I knew I wanted the fairing to not move when I turned so I knew I wanted the Road Glide. Keep riding 😀

I know I have some good riding boots but I just forgot to bring them to work so had to ride with what I had!
