I thought automatic citizenship by birth was reversed.... Or, at least not made automatic anymore. I think there is a process before it's granted now. Eh, maybe I'm wrong.

Birthright citizenship is guaranteed under the constitution. We can barely pass a normal law let alone amend the constitution with the amount of partisanship going on in DC
