Great truck, great review. Even nicer t-shirt! I have a 2.5 2007 D-max, does about 800km in the city, managed to squeeze 1100kms to and fro Penang from KL and drove it for the rest of the week. Insane Fuel Economy!

After egr delete and remap, my dmax 1.9 feels more powerful, and the acceleration improved a LOT!

The pullout tray`s silver U-shaped handle needs to be unlatched (pushed forwards I think) first, then pull it to bring the tray towards you. Can`t wait to see how this 1.9L performs with that torque in the MU-X compared to larger 2.0L petrol SUVs.

could you please make a comparison between 4x4 at and 4x2 at? i think 4x4 is great but is it worth for how much money you spent to get that extra grip on 4 wheel?hmmm

I can answer that without even reviewing the 4x4 variant, NO. Hahaha!! As I said in the video, if you're only gonna use it in the city and on paved roads, all u need is 4x2. Unless your work or leisure activities find you venturing onto light to medium off-road trails, then get the this 4x4 variant 👍🏾😊

Hey...you are supposed to unlatch the hinge so that the cargo tray at the back can slide in and out. Not supposed to lift it up.

you pulled the rear tray wrongly though. the medal handle is hinged. Just unhinged and you can pull it out instead of lifting.

I heard Europe is going way stricter with its Euro 6 emission regulations that it becomes impossible for diesel engines to meet the super super tight requirements (e.g. far lower nitrous oxide & particulate matter levels). So, most Conti carmakers are refocusing on petrol engines instead (also...most of them don't produce pickup trucks and prefer SUVs instead).

@@ChrisWeevilGarage Before the dieselgate happened, I was pretty hopeful to see diesel cars being introduced in Msia to complement the dominance of diesel pickup trucks. But, that hope fizzled away when VW was caught for the cheating scandal. It's the price it has pay for trying to cheat its way thru the super strict emission tests. Now...maybe I would just be happy to see pickup trucks being the few diesel vehicles offered for consumer markets apart from SUVs and Kia Carnival 2.2 turbodiesel.

That tray at the back is just stupid! Why not just make it roll back and fourth instead of making it hinged like that. Groceries would just tumble off that tray. This 1.9 litre engine would be really useless here in Sabah and Sarawak given the condition of our roads.
