Awesome review guys. You did a great job describing the vehicle. I’m very surprised that there is only 1 engine for this. It’s amazing that these little engines are as good as the bigger lumps. I love the look, especially in this colour. The only thing I don’t really like is the way the buttons are set out for the aircon. It kinda reminds me of going into hmv years ago, and listening to the cd at the headphone point (I hope that makes sense. I do like that some of the buttons are an oldschool style. It reminds me of the wonderful shogun. Keep up the great work guys.

Thank you, yes it looks the part and drives as such, we think the air on is retro too, a nice interesting touch, Ben really loved it, likely a reminder of Our Price in the 80s. This engine is extremely and surprisingly it doesn’t need to be any bigger like most of the alternatives.

Good question, if you floor it you’ll hear it in everyday driving on decent roads very little noise, thank you.

Fair review and it is a good truck ( I own one) but you did make me laugh when you said the reversing camera has "guides for a trailer". If you've ever towed a trailer you'd know the trailer obscures the camera making it useless.

It’d had been a busy day, yes that was plain stupidity on our part the guidelines are there, though the camera can’t see through the trailer, thank you we’ll get in front of this with a pinned message.

Of course the reversing camera isn't particularly useful with a trailer, it does have guides though, a trailer will likely completely obscure the view though, apologies.

Unfortunately we haven’t tested the latest Toyota Pickup, so can’t comment. The D Max is most happy with a load on the back, but isn’t uncomfortable generally.

Hope it fairs better than mine. ...31/2 years old , 35000fully serviced miles , needs a new ac valve and evaporator which is a full dash out job ..the five year 125000 mile warranty doesn’t cover it , the bill will be bank busting ! My advice is look past the big warranty stickers and read the small print ...UK warranty doesn’t cover you in Spain ...that’s if you can get an Isuzu dealer over here to answer the phone ...Isuzu UK only offer words ..

by its price, dMax is more entry level pickup truck, hence, I would rather like to see what cheaper version of the same can offer. If I have lot of money to spend, I would choose between Nissan, Merc, VW... those are more fancy pickups,... Here I need a reliable working machine, I don't want to spend million for it.

The D Max starts at just over £20k this just as capable, no 4 cab and lacks the refinement and of the higher trims, a D Max is a real work horse, try one see what you think

@@PlanetautoUK I'm thinking of buying one, but cheaper version (not the cheapest, but next to it), on 16" wheels, with manual air condition and not that much equipment. That would be my reliable WORK HORSE, and I would like to see is it clever spend money?

Another common double cabin review WITHOUT reviewing detail in the second cabin. Esp the comfort of back seat position for long trip. Its like seeing a 4x4 single cabin review not a double cabin review
