2018 Isuzu D-Max Review - Utah - not just a name? [Music Motors]

The 2018 Isuzu D-Max Utah is somewhat of a perfect mix, ideal work truck and great for weekend duties too. Powered by a 1.9 diesel engine, it’s light enough to power over obstacles and still tow 3.5t of weight. How does the D-Max Utah stand up to the Music Motors test?

TomKentMusic I've been in the motor trade since 1996 and started a brewery 3 years ago so I'm a bit out of touch. I'm looking at leasing a pick up as I can still carry beer in the back but I can do sales calls and look not to flashy but not a little van. So the question is do I go mercedes, vw, Isuzu, fiat, Ford, Nissan or mitsubishi? I need good mpg, pay load, durability and comfort. Maybe not to flash or to basic.

I’ve got an X Class incoming soon and I’ve requested an L200. I suppose it’s all to do with budget, for instance I think the Amarok is the best V6 pickup at the moment, but as soon as the X Class one arrived it’ll top it.

I like you opinion on mpg but you are wrong about the ford mpg in the 20's as my 3.2 averages 42mpg

They can, but we found them to generally average 20’s around town.

I would like opinions from owners of the 1900cc dmax about its abilities. should i buy this truck as a farmer ?or it will have no power indeed.

After running one for a week, the 1900cc would be fine without heavy loads. Otherwise you’d be wanting slightly more power.
