Tested 8 CD32 Games for Mister FPGA & Minimig CORE with: CDAudio, SetAkiko, IDEfix97 CD32 Emultor!

Tested 8 CD32 Games for Mister FPGA Miniming CORE with:
CDAudio, SetAkiko, IDEfix97 CD32 Emultor!
- Boot from modded floppy (ADF) IDEfix97 CD32 Emulator + SetAkiko (tool for MiSTer FPGA)
- CD ROM set to Primary IDE Slave (i'm use atapi.device unit=1 for CD0)
- MisterFGPA VGA output LCD 31khz
- Mixer for equalizing the 8 games stereo audio out
VERY IMPORTANT: to listen to the AUDIO tracks from CD you have to update the Main MiSTer and the cores from August 16th, I recommend the "update_all" script : github.com/theypsilon/Update_...
For each game you see the settings to start it:
00:00 Microcosm CD32 video (all game) + gameplay (akiko)
05:24 Pinball Illusion CD32 cd audio + gameplay
09:10 Soccer Kid CD32 intro video + cd audio + gameplay (akiko)
16:20 Shadow Fighter CD32 cd audio + gameplay
21:20 Gloom CD32 gameplay (akiko for c2p)
25:02 Chaos Engine CD32 cd audio for intro & FX + gameplay
31:08 Super Stardust CD32 intro video + cd audio + gameplay (akiko)
36:04 Alien Breed 3D CD32 cd audio + gameplay (akiko for c2p)

oh yes it's very nice, to be heard by you too well I passed them from the mixer to level the volumes and record them from the line in of the pc 🕺

Would you be willing to share the IDEfix97 CD32 Emulator + SetAkiko adf file? or at least post a video with instructions on how to make one as I cant for the life of me figure out how to use idefix97.

idefix97.lha download it from aminet, inside the archive there is another archive called cd32.lha , extract it and create the floppy with the "Make CD32 Floppy" or "Make HD Startup", otherwise you can look for groups that talk about MiSTer FPGA on facebook and find some more help ....

Will idefix86 work on a real amiga 1200 and be able to play akiko games like Microcosm?

hi, yes Microcosm works on the 1200 + idefix 99 (I used the atapi.device) perhaps among the old videos from 2-3 years ago there is a test that I did on a1200+fastram

The KEY here worked, friend, but it's not playing the songs on the CD.

strange the CD Audio works, did you create a floppy with the CD32 emulator? on MiST & MiSTer FPGA you have to configure the CD0 as atapi.device unit=1 (from amiga shell write: ed CD0) then configure the hard disk.hdf as primary master channel and the virtual CD-ROM as primary slave channel ... for those who know the Amiga it is quite simple. Very important: when you mount the game iso you must use the .CUE file otherwise if you use the .ISO file you won't hear the CD audio in the games (this with all emulators)

@@gennaretro1150 I didn't create the Diskette, I boot using the program that is installed on the HD, could this be it?

it also works from the hard disk, when you install it the cd32 asks you to assign a function key to start it before the workbench, but more importantly have you updated the mister? use the "update_all" script to update the main "mister" and the minimig core to hear the audio CD

but do you want the full version of IDEfix? even in Demo version it works the same and with audio CD... anyway if you search on the web it's easy to find the serial number
