These rigs are SO cool. Awesome run with it Troy. I like the way you're thinking. btw. Replacing parts with better stronger parts does sometimes lead to worse breaks further up the line. Thumbs up to this ALWAYS. :)

Thank you! Yes - I guess the jury is still out on this one, it may or may not really be an upgrade.

If you have access to a cnc router theres a dxf file on thingiverse for the axle braces. I've cut my own out of G10 fiber composite. Might update to carbon but i also have a plasma table at work so thinking about cutting some out of steel or stainless.

Hey there... I've got a King Sling and don't use it much.... im looking ti get a set of the monster truck style wheels and tires for it... was loking at the Fling King tires like you have in your truck in this video... would you recommend these tires or something else for all around driving and offroading, maybe still a bit of mud or snow.... I have crawlers, offroad racers, and some onroad and fun RCs but don't really have any 'bashers' or monster trucks....won this King Sling in a raffle and really wanna make it a monster truck that we use more... Cheers

As soon as you said mud and snow - these are the tires for you. They are super soft and very aggressive.

Where did you get those wheels and tires and limit straps?

Nice , I used epoxy on inside axle housings than four wire ties , 2 each side , once axles together. If my LHS open today I'm going pick up the bog hog . Happy Easter 🐣

Nice! I might try that trick as well!

Happy Easter Troy and great video! I'm only halfway in but really interested in the outcome. Hey what truck do you like better the lmt or the kingsling? I like the longer wheel base and if I didn't have the lmt would've definitely grabbed one
@RoadsideRC Жыл бұрын
That is exactly where I am. I had the LMT, really liked it, but the King Sling wheelbase and power enticed me. I do like it better.

you need to send it harder to break link ends and axals they break like out of the blue monster crash it will be good drive off a curb and snap
@RoadsideRC Жыл бұрын
That is what triggered this test...I broke them a few times with some small backflips, etc.
