The crêpe maker is giving me the feels. My AP French teacher in HS had one of those. Every couple of months, if we'd been doing well, she'd announce a "chocolate day". For us that meant she'd bring in her crêpe maker and batter, and each person in class brought in something else like pastries (2 of my classmates worked at Panera and brought amazing day olds), Nutella and strawberries, lemon, powdered sugar, etc for the crêpes, fancy chocolates, Oranjina and Perrier. It was super fun! I had her for 3 years and there were about 6 of us total that were always in the same class. That was such a fun time in life!

My French teacher was like this 😭. Sadly I only had her for one year because she was moving to France with her husband. Her husband was awesome too, he brought in the toppings that she had forgotten at home and stopped by the store to buy us even more toppings 😭. I remember feeling like a child excited for a pizza day again lol. I hope they are doing good and enjoying their retirement!

i had an algebra teacher in high school who knew of my insomnia and food shortage, so she's keep those gas station peanut butter crackers for me and let me nap 30 minutes before class. she also allowed me to eat during class as long as i wasn't obvious about it.

For anyone who’s interested in the beeswax wraps. You can clean them after using them. - just fill your sink with cold water and a small amount of washing up liquid put the wraps in you can wash and scrub them once you’re done rinse them off and hang to dry DO NOT Use hot water it will cause the wax to come off They last about 12months You can get the wraps resealed if it’s at a point though they can’t be resealed you can put them on the compost and they’ll degrade (Used to work for a company that made these so just thought I’d share this)

You can use the beeswax wraps like cling / plastic wrap! You can wrap just about anything! No need to cut and waste the extra little bits either, just cut it in half or use the whole thing 😀 it’s expensive so better to not be wasteful! Love your videos x

For the sealer, you actually need to glide it across the bag of chips. Instead of stamping it. At least that's how I do it and it works. No air escapes. ☺️ My chips stays crispy even after days of not opening it. ✨

I love that crepe pan! I got my son a breakfast sandwich maker when he was in college and he loved it. I have a similar bag sealer, you have to run it across the bag in a smooth motion and it does heat up and melt the bag together, airtight

47:35 as a crafter who had to reseal some bags. just slide it across , it will definitely seal a chips bag again for good :) and the blade is to open a bag . imagine you just need some small findings or SOMETHING so you just need an open corner. so you have the tool to open AND close it :)

For the gadget that seals bags you are to start on one end and in one smooth motion pull it to the opposite side. You do not keep pushing it that is why it was making holes.

I bought the egg mcmuffin maker for $5 at Walmart on clearance. I used it a few times and the cleanup was a pain. I would much rather throw everything onto my griddle. I have a egg "mold" I use and cleaning the griddle is super easy.
