I love the To Do table! I have my stuff to film on a separate table as well, to keep my filming space clear. Good to see all the pens in action and I love the fun colours and designs you put on the hearts, especially the cute watermelons!

My To-Do table makes me so happy! I do have other items I've already put away that are on my list that I should probably pull out and add to the table, but it's currently already quite full. Maybe I'll just stick to the list for the remaining items - but I love seeing them all out and ready to go. Oh, the dilemma! Well, I'll film something fun today and maybe that will make space for one of the other many things on my list - I hope so! 😂

Wow, awesome acrylic markers! I think I will put artx on my wish list on Amazon. Thank you for the cute adorable puppy video.

Lol I can't even with that cute puppy butt!!! I have all of my stuff that I want to make videos of on a shelf next to my desk, too!! Otherwise I will definitely forget. I always love your attitude of, "I don't know how to do this, but I'm going to do it anyways!" Really makes me want to dive into things. 😊

I only just put that table up yesterday with the goodies on it, but I love it already. I think it's good to have a "staging" area. Thanks, Annie!

It was really fun watching you doodle with these! I think I'll add the artx to my wish list. I really like the idea of not needing to pump them.

Thanks, Revonda! This book is incredibly fun and the Arrtx markers were so easy to use. Hopefully you'll get to try them soon1

That was a very interesting video and the art was really cheerful and colourfull. I would consider buying the Arrtx ones in the future. Have a nice week and see you on Friday, Miranda.

Thanks, Valerie. I am quite enjoying this book. In fact, it's all I want to do right now, but I will restrain myself and get back to my watercolors today... 😂

Great video! Cookie ate 4 cat posts 😂 I bought the Artxx markers 4 times and never used them, my son takes them every time he comes over lol

The cat posts are great for dogs - who would have known?!?! LOL! That's great that your son takes your Arrtx markers. 😂

I really love the bold lines of the GuangNa markers. They’re the ones that appealed to me the most while watching this. Also, as always, I love the puppy play. What a cutie!

Thanks, Blue! This was a really fun test and I can see different uses for all of the markers. But yes, the CuangNa were nice and bold. The Arrtx were SO smooth - but I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about their composition, so it'll be interesting to see how they do over time.

This was a great video. Quirky, happy, & informative. So this is how my brain works. Really loved watching you let go doing the. hearts. Recently watched a Steve Mitchell video about practicing washes. So I think this would be a good way to practice getting smooth flat washes. Oh-also a good way to practice shading, adding highlights & cross hatching. POOF-the fun is all gone. Ordering the Arrtx markers. Like the no pumping aspect. Upon arrival I will force myself to have fun!😁

Lol, our brains are strange things, aren't they? 😂 Well, I hope you have fun regardless!

Hi there from Parker! We are 2 peas in a pod. I am a visual person and a list-maker and my studio has an “itty-bitty working space.” This was the push I needed to pull out that other table from the garage, rearrange my studio & make it easier for me to create. Thank you. Also- I had the first version of Arrtx acrylic markers & ended up tossing them. I have a small set of Poscas that I use for embellishing my watercolors or gouaches, or for using on Pantone cards. I like them but don’t use them too often. Maybe in an art journal…?

My Golden Retriever came from Parker! I'm glad my video inspired you to make a change or two - yea! I do enjoy all the acrylic markers. I love the Arrtx ones so I hope I don't have the trouble with them that you did. Fingers crossed.

@@MirandaWatsonArt another coincidence-my great grandparents came over from Italy-they settled in New Castle. ☺️I doubt you’ll have the trouble I did-mine we’re the pump kind. These look like a big improvement.

I am the same way - I always want to leave everything out -- but when you have 100 projects out everywhere you can't see anything anymore. 😆I constantly struggle with where to put project stuff until I can get to it. I like your to-do table! I just bought a new computer desk and a drafting table, need to unbox it and try to get it put together!

New desks - how fun! I'm enjoying my To-Do table; I'm just grateful I have the room for it!

Very nice video, sometimes you just have to work in a coloring book, lol. Different subject, watercolor brush markers. Poetique. I saw someone using them, maybe you? They’re very nice. Best of all they are easily refilled. The end just comes off. You can buy refills or use your own ink when they run out. 🌺
@MirandaWatsonArt2 жыл бұрын
I do love the relaxing nature of working in coloring books. I have not used Poetique brush markers. This is the first I've heard of them. They sound nice - refilling is a bonus!

I checked out the Arrtx and people are saying they wash off some surfaces, they are not acrylic paint, and they don't layer well? People do like them though, but one person says they use them more like watercolor markers? They do describe them as "water-based ink" as well.
@MirandaWatsonArt2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have seen those remarks as well. Apparently they now make a 30-pack that is more like a true acrylic paint marker. I still LOVE these and will always choose them first. If I want to paint on glass or some other shiny surface like that, then I'll grab my Poscas.
