We just picked up this 2003 Nissan Xterra SE not long ago and immediately took it out for some testing.

That’s awesome. It gives me hope for my 2000 I bought new and has a lot less miles, 208,000. I hope it lasts me many more years. I haven’t seen one as old as mine in years but I’m sure there’s still plenty out there.

I just bought a 2002 manual shift 2wd for $500. Good! One week later, i bought a 2201 automatic 2wd for $2500. You can never have too many Xterras...right?

First thing I did with my Xterras was put new Gabriel shocks on all around. They are cheap and also high quality. I change my oil every six months. I drain my automatic transmission and refill it every summer. Most importantly, I try to never let another human drive my cars. They cannot be trusted to drive responsibly.

Nice! It’s only been less than 2 weeks so nothing yet. I was lucky enough to find this one that got a service record from may of this year with quite a lot done so I’m not expecting any issues soon.
