Nice run. The Castle 6400 seems like a real powerful setup. 👍👍

Had to go into the ESC and turn the instant power up. It was hitting so soft but that made it pop out the hole . So much torque w these motors! Love em

Love the vid, I've heard a lot of good things about that Motor. I'm running a castle ESC and one of my cars and maybe this motor would be a good match for that car.🤔
@RcFunDrizzy2 жыл бұрын
I’m thinking of getting one it’s a beast definitely has both ends when geared right I heard dude are running it with a R1 esc as well
@blindj2 жыл бұрын
@@RcFunDrizzy yeah I've seen that myself pushing out 1.9 with the R1 and with a castle ESC. The FDR on that motor is way different than the two pole low turn motor though. My low turn are one motor is up next to 13 FDR this motor would have to be way lower probably about 40% lower because of all the torque and it doesn't rev as high

Yea its a good motor for bracket racing the 77 still putting uo awesome numbers but i cant wait to grab their new 9000k sensored motor coming out this summer and steve nue has a 2s drag motor that mark is testing and so far word on the grape vine saying its the best motor he has ever touched 120,000 rpm 10,500 kv monster 8 gauge and all
@RcFunDrizzy2 жыл бұрын
Oh that sounds sweet can’t wait to see it and the 6400kv is in the 1.9s already in some places it’s a good motor but there are a lot of good motors out there but that 9000kv I wouldn’t mind trying that lol

Thanks for the video is good info. I'm new to drag racing hobby and also to castle products. I'm learning on how to play with timing but I see the torque is also useful. When playing with the torque will that affect timing or those are 2 separate things? Torque will be more to get out of the hole and timing will be after right? Thanks again
@RcFunDrizzy2 жыл бұрын
Yep correct but can effect it depends on Rpm range and as of now we are all learning castle

4pole motor waoo time for a change good start gearing that you recommend? Thanks
@RcFunDrizzy2 жыл бұрын
So they are saying to start with a 7.8 ratio if you know what FDR is all depends on the car you have

@@RcFunDrizzy dr10 ok thanks my friend I go from there 4pole motor look like is more easy to tune in more consistent gearing sometimes can be really confusing thanks

How are you tuning with that remote?? With throttle speed or ?
@RcFunDrizzy2 жыл бұрын
Look for the video I posted after this one I explain how to set it up from your remote to control the torque limiter on the fly
@maagneticc64702 жыл бұрын
I'd try to stick to 1 pass and charge its really not good for the esc or battery with the voltage drop it goes down to.
@blindj2 жыл бұрын
Thing is we race dry tire locally and best out of three. So every time we are making at least two passes maybe three passes. Dre hosts great event the bigger cash is draw people from out of state who travel a few hours so it kind of gives everybody that little bit of extra racing. It also adds a dynamic to your tuning where not only do you have to make the car really fast but you need to make it really fast for at least two passes. Back to back.
@RcFunDrizzy2 жыл бұрын
Yep what J said
@maagneticc64702 жыл бұрын
@@blindj i get that just not good for electronics and its hard to go back to back and run fast since the battery is dying after every hit but its ur races just wanna help out because people will run multiple passes burn electronics then blame it on the company for cheap electronics not saying u do just seen it happen
