From one Nanny to another 🥰 here's tip to fill the deviled eggs quickly. Put the prepared mashed yolk mixture into a sandwich size baggy. Then cut a small hole by snipping a corner of the baggy. Simply squeeze the egg mixture into the egg halves using the baggy like a cake decorating bag. Takes a minute to do a dozen and they look nice too! The best part is you simply toss the baggy when done. This has saved me so much time when making lots of deviled eggs for family gatherings.

Oh Nanny..I about died laughing when you had the tweezers on your nose to help with contouring! You are so fun and certainly took one for the team with that hack. I too am not a daytime eater, and like you a caretaker, I always make sure the husband has his breakfast and lunch and I always make a very nice big dinner as I am hungry by then. But like you I 25:19 felt my energy slipping in the daytime hours, about a year ago I started eating a banana with natural peanut butter ( the kind made of just peanuts) by atleast noon time and I bought a tiny egg cooker for $5 at Walmart that makes six hard cooked eggs so I do that once a week and have a boiled egg with Tabasco sauce on it in the mid afternoon with some almonds…I think the added protein I’m getting has made a difference with my energy and my hair and bones…like you, I always have my collagen powder in my morning coffee. Can’t wait to see how your oat cake turns out, I make homemade granola once a week with oats for my husbands morning yogurt so I’m really interested in your recipe for the oat cake. ❤️❤️

Nanny, I love that corner of your kitchen, especially the glass on the cabinets. I can only imagine the amount of love that has gone into so many meals made in that kitchen. I too struggle with finding protein sources I enjoy. Unfortunately, I have never liked cottage cheese, yogurt, sour cream, etc. Someone once told me it was likely a textural thing. I do rely on eggs and other things, but love the idea of the salmon! You and Moose have a wonderful week ahead. Hope the weather improves and Moosie can enjoy his outdoor happy place.☀🐦

I'm the devilled egg maker for all my family gatherings and like you, I like them 'plain and simple', then sprinkled with chives and paprika on top. I know 'devilled' eggs got the name from adding some mustard, but I made them that way one time only and didn't like them at all! My husband wouldn't eat an egg SANDWICH but would eat a plate of devilled eggs, which is virtually the same mixture without the bread!! Go figure! I've also learned in the last few years to STEAM the eggs instead of submerging them in water. The shells come off like a dream! I think I learned that from Paula Deen on her cooking show. Wish I'd known that trick 40 years ago! :) ~~M~~

Nanny you look AMAZING at the start of this video - stunning. Hair and makeup flawless. And the hack with the nose and the teeth did make me laugh. That reminds me I used to make home made toothpaste with that recipe - (minus the ordinary toothpaste)- mixed the paroxide with baking soda and coconut oil - used to use it 2 or 3 times a week - might do again now you have reminded me. Nanny - you are totally on point re- eating habits- it is recommended to start the day with something savory and not sweet [obviate the sugar hike after the body has rested overnight]. So your broccoli herring and salmon etc. and all that good stuff is truly the right thing to eat. I do love porridge oats in the morning with lots of fruit but that can be a lot of sugar intake and so I try not to take that at weekends and might cut that out one day during the week. Try my health drink it is the first thing I drink in the morning - glass of nice cold water, juice of a lime and 1 tea spook of himalayan pink salt. It is remarkably tasty and tangy and just right to wake up the juices in the morning and the salt hydrates. - Stay fabulous Nanny - Love Jas xx

You look beautiful today, Nanny! I love deviled eggs and they are an excellent source of protein. I didn't realize how important protein was to keeping muscle mass as we age until my doctor referred me to a nutritionist for a health problem I was having. She has convinced me that a good diet is essential for healthy aging. Our need for protein increases as we age. Once we lose muscle mass, it is very hard to get back, especially for seniors. I couldn't eat enough food to get all the grams of protein I needed. I was advised to add protein bars, protein powder and protein shakes to my regular (healthy) diet to get all the protein my body needs. I do think I have more energy. I am also doing intermittent 6 hour fasting (under the care of a nutritionist) and have lost 35 pounds slowly over several months. Thanks for sharing all your tips we can try. ❤

I really enjoyed your video today as usual Nanny. I giggled watching the nose sculpting, but not as much as I did the time you told your story couple years ago about your "fluffy slipper" running across the bedroom floor😂 You need to tell your new viewers that rabbit hole story 😊 The way my mother taught me to make "stuffed eggs" was to mix the yolks with a tiny(95 gram) can of smoked tuna in olive oil. You can leave the oil in or drain it and instead add a little mayonnaise. Maybe even a small amount of finely chopped red onion. It is delicious 😋 Nanny you are what they call a "jack of all trades", if you don't know something you research it and teach yourself, then pass it on to us. Thankyou, enjoyed seeing you today and God bless you and Moosie and your family 🙏 🕊 ❤ from Anna from Queensland in Australia 🇦🇺

Nanny, having fresh vegetables and/or fruit in the morning and throughout the day isn't as unhealthy as you might think. Obviously, store-bought dips aren't always the best thing for us, but you can make a delicious homemade version with just a few simple ingredients. I'm not much for breakfast either, but I nibble on fresh veggies and fruit, a little yogurt or cottage cheese and maybe a hard boiled egg or a few slices of deli ham or turkey during the day. I don't follow any set routine or diet, but my cardiologist very much approves. As he says, some of us are just born grazers. LOL I have a recipe for dill dip that I got from a friend's aunt at least 40 years ago and I make it all the time. 1 Cup Sour Cream or Plain Yogurt (Greek is my go-to), 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise (you can use light mayo or leave it out and add more sour cream/yogurt), 2 Tbls Instant Minced Onion, 3-4 Tbls. Dried Dill Weed, 1 tsp Celery Salt, 1/2 tsp salt. Mix all of the ingredients well and chill for at least an hour to rehydrate the dried onions and serve. You can double the recipe or cut it in half to suit your needs and add more or less of any of the ingredients to your own taste. I've been asked for the recipe every single time I've served this dip or brought it to a party/gathering and it's my family's favorite dip! Seeing those deviled eggs had my mouth watering. I definitely need to make some, very soon! (I'm sure my husband won't mind, either! Ha!) Loved the fun makeup tips/hacks, the family stories and as always, I just love, love, love hearing about the day to day lives of Nanny and the Moose! Much love and may God bless you, abundantly!

Good morning Nanny. They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I have always tried to h ave a balanced diet. In the “old” days, they had the food pyramid. I followed that for my family meals. When I was at the hospital this week for a test, the gentleman who did the test was talking about the importance of fruit. I don’t eat as much as I used to. I feel full sooner. So I try to balance everything in smaller portions. Food is fuel for the body. Water is very important. I love trying new recipes. Enjoy your breakfast. Blessings to you both, love, Sharon

What a fun video.....Loved the make-up perks....don't know about the tweezer part and lining the side of the nose. My son makes his deviled eggs with a touch of horse radish and a piping bag to fill the eggs. I use mustard with the mayo, salt, pepper and a touch of garlic as you do... and top with half of a pimento olive for color and a dash of paprika. Yes, I like to use a lip pencil to outline my lips. I need to fill out my lashes a little more. Any suggestions? We can see how much Moosie enjoyed those deviled eggs! :)
