Bought one of the suction handles for balance rather than heavy support. Stuck it on a smooth flat surface. Stuck on hard when applied but came straight off a day or so later.

I've left my test handle in place for that very reason. I'll let you know how it fares.

Hmm. Well it fell off by itself after a day or two. However, so long as you're happy ti re stick it each time, then it's not really a problem. It certainly seemed strong and supported my weight.

No No No! I would not rely on the tiles to support my weight. You could pull them off the wall.

I bought the bath handles, seemed ok but came off shortly afterwards. Definitely a FAIL. Age UK (I think, not sure now) fitted a heavy duty one with long screws for free.
