That is CRAZY! Magnet sticks right through the package!! Chinese (?) fakes are getting better it seems. These sellers have to know they're selling junk....I'd be very careful getting anything from ebay unless it was from a major bullion dealer....and even then I'd ping it, weigh it, measure it and check with my magnet. You need to stick with reputable sellers. Apmex, Silvertown, etc. Saving $3 ain't worth the risk.

I picked a 5 pack of Chinese eagles. They were not magnetic, though. The refund process was smooth. It took a couple of weeks, but eBay took care of me.

Had same issue with 1 oz bars. I have a sigma so proof was simple. Seller issued immediate refund. I still contacted eBay and let them know they had a seller out there moving fakes. Note your rotation is off on the second one.

1st issue I have is there is no type 1 for 2023 silver eagles. I would have never bought it in the first place. Know your coins folks

That’s crazy. Did you get refunded or did eBay suspend that guy’s account. I buy from SD bullion. I know their reputable but sometimes I worry I get sent a fake. I need to buy a bing test like you have. Need to find one haha

Ebay is good with the truth when it comes to fake silver. I took digital pictures from the results off a Sigma Metalyzer Precious Metals Verifier. They didn't even need to see the pictures.

All you did with Ebay Did nothing. Ebay still has many listings that are obvious they are counterfeit. Watch where seller is located, if from China beware. If free shipping and ebay fees. put cost of coin below spot price beware. If seller has less than 500 feedbacks beware. if seller has negative feedback that his coins are fake stay away. Ebay has caused this problem by not enforcing the listings. No one should be allowed outside the united states to list coins without at least 500 positive feedbacks.
