This is a fantastic synopsis. I have been researching this for months. My two year old daughter started showing signs of autism and we narrowed it down to mold exposure. We have been giving her Nystatin along with some micronized chlorella. She has made great improvements. I have had fatigue, metal taste, brain fog, etc. My wife has no issues at all. Genetics certainly play a role. I went through and researched the entire ERMI list. We had a house full of plants and many of them were producing mold from the soil. My suggestion would be to get rid of all house plants if you're having mold issues. Get an ozone generator and use that in your house once a month or so. Be very cautious and know how to use it because it can harm your lungs. Make sure you start it and leave and then come back after it's finished and air the house out. It is literally amazing how much damage mold spores can cause...

@darlinspaces 3 жыл бұрын
I am married to a real ND PhD who does not believe in ozone machines at all. They actually create more air problems. Be careful what "resources" you buy into!!! He just retrofits the air vents with filters at home depot. He will tell you to learn how to throw out moldy crap food, especially as most western European foods use moldy shit.

www.allergyclean.com/problems-with-ozone-generators-and-ionizers-that-produce-ozone/ My only solution for mould is to know and learn exactly as much info as possible how your residence is built and try to get a dehumidifier going to remove dampness. I personally have not inhaled the mould because I always live in places that are newish, but I do think I have sensitivities to them genetically and am trying to sort it out. Good Luck

My dad has been dealing with this for years and years. He lived in a house in the country that had a ton of mold. But he moved out two years ago and is only getting worse. He now sleeps in his metal stripped van at night. He can’t even drink carbonated drinks anymore. He wakes up every night with fluid in his lungs and coughs violently all day. He now has kidney and liver problems. He has edema and very painful neuropathy in feet and torso. He only sleeps 3 hours a night from the pain and having to pee all night long. No one believes him even though they see his liver, Ige and kidney levels elevated. They say it’s all in his mind. His life has been ruined. He’s exhausted and in a state of despair. I don’t know what to do for him anymore. He’s been doing all the detoxes and binders and gotten rid of all of his furniture. He’s always been a strong and healthy good man, he’s now weak and scared. Doctors have treated him like a child. Please someone help me help him.

Be the squeakiest freaking wheel w these Drs and deff see new ones or find one who is smart enough to help determine what's what, from where and boost and heal/RePair ones self,cells and entire well-being. Some great docs out there. Rest. I dunnoooooo. I am embarrassed for them. Really frustrating and prayers are sent to you all experienced experiencing or will. Bc learn all possible now. Self research we are told don't do. Well they got Google and do say prescribe some things that baffle the mind of one who's intuitive, has common sense, knows the more personal changes etc. And maybe with love sent to all. Past info that worked. That didn't. Drs to look into. I mean. I was told spinal fluid does not move up spine. 18 now36 and all many horrific not age related issues and seems not one Dr in local areas so far seem educated. Not even dermatologist 2 sadly. But going when I did. Was own fault but wasn't new and pregnant, summer or not dis not make it any diff. Hormones just allows them to brush off. Important things. Heart Dr says nothing but let me know if any thing changes. Uhhmmm. As in???? Sheesh. Guess couldn't be a droid hook up for 48/72 hours for better idea and explaining what was seen. Ohhhh. I pray for your dad you and all again. Be loud and proud for this fight!!!

I have been an undiagnosed mold sufferer since 1974 when docs didn't even recognize it as a thing and I spent 3 weeks in hospital and almost failed my sophomore year of high school. My latest run in with(CIRS) mold bio-toxin illness started in 2006 at the University I attended. Within the first 30 days of attendance I was down. I had been in the best health of my life at the beginning of the school year and made it 2 years before I had to withdraw on medical leave. I never went back, instead replacing the education I wanted for 14 top specialists in the state of Colorado, many of whom stated I must be a hypochondriac due to the magnitude of symptoms I was displaying. Some said they could tell there was something wrong but they would have to wait until it reared its ugly head to figure it out. I wondered if that would be when they slid me out from the morgue compartment to do the autopsy. I was dying with no answers. I gave up on the docs and went to a Naturopath who had been my professor at University to find answers. He listened for 2 hours and ran a series of tests. Testing showed that I had 2:2 of the most susceptible genes for mold toxicity (4-3-53). There are 25 or so, but the top 6 are bad. I also had grossly elevated MMP9 and deficient VIP. The test he ran to rule out LYME and rule in Mold was the combined C4a - C3a panel. I had turned down Lyme treatment wisely as it showed no Lyme but positive for mold. The C4a test is the most accurate test available for mold differential diagnosis. It was developed here at National Jewish Medical Center but is not being used in medical practice. Testing allowed, after 12 years of medical malfeasance, to start treatment. The damage has been done and I will never get back the time, health, and zest for life I once had... but this information is valuable and should not be hidden away.

@@kh4christ72 You are very welcome. I am currently under mold mitigation and have since found out that any building... repeat... ANY building, that has drywall/sheetrock/gypsum board interiors is a ticking time bomb. Gypsum board (made here in Gypsum Colorado) comes pre-loaded with Stachybotrys mold spores (black mold). All you have to do to activate it is just add water. In my case it means that I will be staying in the mold mitigated place I live in until I am able to build my own home with no drywall. Part of the problem is that we are so inundated with things like anti-fungal paint, chemicals in our food etc that we are all environmentally compromised to different degrees. I am in awe every day at God's work in creating such finely tuned humans but I also see every day our ability to self destruct as far more basic than nuclear war because we are destroying ourselves with the choices we make such as buying the food that is most cheap rather than best. How many people for instance know that if the cow is cleanly fed on grass it produces an enzyme in it's cud that allows us to digest it?... or that the #1 source of important B vitamins is bone marrow?... Lions in the Sahara know this and leave the carcasses mostly for Hyenas (scavengers)... How many young women understand that in order to get pregnant you have to have enough red blood cells to host a baby, which you can't get from plant based diets? And it goes on and on... we have been fed junk literally by corporations and entities including provision paradigms that lacks wisdom and if we choose to engage it is a war we lose.

Also the effects of WiFi on mold spores is still being learned about - apparently the EMF frequencies put the mold into survival mode which produces more spores & extra toxins (?) ~ another aspect for your brother to check and that might help his healing. You may also need to utilize heavy metal detox protocols. I use milder but still effective cilantro/parsley/spirulina/bentonite/chlorella activated charcoal combined with almond butter (mercury binder) and ORGANIC strawberries (lead binder) as this really assists the methylation pathway... also important to ensure you have enough Mag glycerinate and zinc picolinate as they assist metal detox in the Krebs cycle.

I just received Mycotoxin results from great plains and unfortunately it doesn't show me out of range for any of the molds this company checks for, out of the 11 mold species this company tests for I do show some type of mold exposure for 2 species. One is more closer to being out of range, I wasn't given any special instruction when peeing in the cup except to not drink water after a certain time and to collect my morning urine. Is it possible that my test is giving me a false negative or the mold toxicity I have isn't one The Great Plains tests for? I wholeheartedly believe my sickness is due to mold because of the extensive testing I've had done up to this point, everything keeps coming back normal and I still feel like I'm slowly dying. There's no visible mold, but there is a roof leak over the AC unit that drips when it rains hard into the hallway right about where the AC vents travel. I believe the AC is spreading mold across the vents, I can smell some type wet wood smell when the AC kicks on, I also did a petri dish test a month ago. It took 4 days for a tiny mold spore to show, fast forward to today and the Perri dish is almost black because of the mold growing inside. I guess I'm wanting some encouragement that I'm on the right path with my long comment, this past year has been a walk through hell. Thanks for anyone that took their time reading this and responding I took the VCS test and that does show that I'm positive for some type of toxic affecting my vision.

I don't know about mold growth specifically linked to skin care. I have never heard or seen that written but I do feel you should try and reframe from toxic products and try and lean into as many non toxic products within your household as much as possible. One thing I do know that does contribute to mold growth is EMF waves. You can start to actually notice an intolerance around your phone or electronics. For me I get more anxious and my fingers will actually start to burn after enough time. If you knew all this already, apologies. If you didn't, I hope this helps. :)

If I was exposed for 2.5 yrs, but the mold was removed about a month ago, would it still be positive??
@suzannegendels3133
@suzannegendels3133 3 жыл бұрын
I think it may well be for awhile after since the toxins are stored in fat cells and takes time to get rid of. Also, if remediation didn't work well, you may have an exposure still and have positive urine. Hope this helps.

Was mold certified remediation? Do you live in humid area? Water damage? You would still be bio-toxin ill unless treated. Genetics can make this more challenging.

@@lunagoodhart5489 I lived in a moldhouse for13 years, back before the internet, before anyone knew what toxic mold was,1993. My earwax used to be soft in yellow, easy to get out with some ear drops. Now it's dry, hard and crusty, black color. Ear drops doesn't soften it. I have to flush out my ears with water. My ears have been ringing off the hook too. My years are itchy but my doctor says they're not infected, So he refuses to give me any kind of ear drops, exccept the ones at the drugstore. ENT same thing. I've tried all the home remedies from peroxide to putting a clove of garlic in your ear. Lol I haven't tried the honey yet. But there are somethings you just won't do. Lol

@@dr.marypardee7668 revisit the mechanism of mass spec and elisa. mass spec performs liquid chromatography to separate the molekules, then blasts them into pieces, and charts the pieces to create a unique fingerprint. elisa binds antibodies against the substrate to a plate, relies on binding and affinity strength between the mold and the antibodies, then uses a reporter substrate to determine how much is there, usually amount of color produced. the former is a direct and absolute measurement while the later is a indirect and qualitative.

Survivor checking in to share with you that the C4a and C3a test panel developed at National Jewish Medical Center, Denver is the most accurate test available for mold. MMP9 can show levels of mold inflammation and VIP deficiency. Microbiology DX can show type and antibiotic resistance, a co infection of mold called MARConS (Multiple Antibiotic Resistant Coagulase negative Staph).
@scubaduba14
@scubaduba14 Жыл бұрын
@@AnneGray-n6g C4a and C4a are proteins involved with the complement system. MMP9 and VIP are proteins involved with the inflammatory process. MicrobiologyDX does nasal swabs, which means they check for colonization of the sinus for bacteria and molds. all of the proteins you listed are involved with CIRS, chronic inflammatory response syndrome. mold illness causes CIRS but it is not the only thing that can cause CIRS. when we treat mold illness, we also check these markers to see how treatment progress is coming along. many times, long after negative mycotoxin and mold tests, CIRS may persist, especially if the person has other immune dysregulation going on, allergies or autoimmunity, for example. when testing for mold toxicity, it can be directly checked only by looking for dna, proteins, the mold itself (PCR, ELISA, culture plates), or by looking for compounds produced specifically by molds (mycotoxins). looking at complement proteins, evidence of CIRS, does not actually check for mold ,or its presence directly, it just shows that we have an immune response dysregulation. when looking at mycotoxins, mass spectroscopy is way way wayyyyyy more specific and sensitive to quantity and type of toxin, compared to ELISA. MS can detect parts per billion concentrations, even the slightest blip on the radar, and without false positives, because it is a finger print of the molecule. ELISA is antibody based, is not going to pickup low concentrations, and is based on binding affinity after a washout step. it's very important to understand how the labs are actually doing things, from a molecular biology and biochem standpoint, as it will be very clear to understand why MS is better than ELISA. you are correct that MicrobiolgyDX checks directly for mold growth but we cannot do that for systemic colonization of tissues. this is why mold toxicity, be it from exposure or colonization, is checked by looking for mycotoxins and/or antibodies against mycotoxins or mold. mymycolab does a serum blood test for IgG and IgM against mycotoxins. there are several labs that check for IgE mediated allergies against molds, which is a heavy driver of CIRS and needs to be addressed concurrently and often for several years post antifungal and detox. the caveat to looking for urinary mycotoxins is that they may not pushed out, as they are very lipophilic and need to go through phase-1 detox (making it more polar so it can go into the blood for kidney processing), which is why we frequently do a glutathione push before urinary collection. lastly, i too am a survivor of mold toxicity, who has used all of the labs used by physicians and researchers within the community, because im a nerd and prefer more data to make sense of the madness. argument from authority is not the way to convince people, only talking science will. as a survivor myself, a researcher, and now a clinician in training, none of that is relevant to the truth. this video stated incorrect information, so i pointed it out. very long winded but i hope this helps clarify why i stated the above.
