Testing Marking Compounds on a Nova 35-80

Can you do a video of prepping the object. Do you clean with alcohol and then add the compound?

Brian, I got a Nova 35-100w coming. Heard that 80w works better than 100w on delicate etching jobs. Is that true? I also got a photo lens.

Yes that is true for the 80watt vs the 130watt, but not as much with the 100watt. The power is a % of the max wattage so if you want to engrave 10% power(Lowest) of the 80 watt then it's 8 watts of power vs the 13 watts of power for the 130watt laser tube. Doesn't seem like much difference but it can be huge on fine detail.
