The block mechanics are actually pretty easy to code, as it can basically be done by a series of vanilla events: Turn blocks into falling ones, apply random velocieties and there you go. Now you just need to use a tag to determine whether its a normal falling block or a mod one and make the mod ones model spin

According to google, average hourly salary for a game dev in the US is ~52$. According to the credits screen at the end of the mod there are about 10 people that worked on it, so if he had paid them hourly, the combined amount of hours they would have needed to work on the mod for it to cost 50.000€ would be 96, which i feel like is probably pretty close to how much time actually got spent making the mod. So i doubt its overpriced, or at the very least wouldnt have been able to be made for 10x less. Software devs are expensive.

To the people who're saying this is not worth the 50k. This was a full team of 7 professional developers, with 2 consultants/contract, doing what's essentially a rush job? Granted, this is the gaming industry, so people are underpaid, but it's still a perfectly reasonable price for how fast they had to ship it out. I don't think they were working 9 to 5, but looking at how it was split between them? It's not a price unreasonable for the work, skill, and time they put into it. 50k is a lot individually, yes, but split seven ways for 2 months of work, it's around 43k a year per person, something they are more than qualified to be earning.

In your place as a tester i would also try to BREAK the way they planned out the mod. What if you try another way to damage Eternis? What if you fly with an elytra in it instead of trying the DoomBreaker? What if you would fly AWAY from Eternis instead? What if the tentacles from the portal don't reach any player? What if you destroy the building between you and Eternis withought using the DoomBreaker?
