I can’t get over how big he’s getting! I have the spybelt with no window but I also have a Versa so I don’t need to look at my phone. I really only use it in the summer. The running one looks like a great option, I love the big window on it.

have you tried using a phone case that clips onto the waistband of his jeans/pants? he can clip into the inside of his pocket if he’s moving around a lot.

dreamflight6000 - he can always get an arm band and flip the phone so he’s able to read it when he looks at it. it would be good to use as the weather gets warmer and he starts to wear t-shirts.

maybe you can cut a peice out of the favourite and sow something meshy in it so he can see, and maybe thread it through his belt thingys on his pants for better comfort?

Does Henry have an iPhone? It looks like he only has to hit the home button and he can see his blood sugar on the lock screen? If that’s the case, how did you set that up? My son has to navigate to the Dexcom app on his phone but it would be much more convenient if it was on the lock screen!

Hello and thank you for nice presentation on the new belts. Just out of curiosity did Henry stop wearing his pump. My son still is on insulin pen injection and we like to find out which one is it better what do guys think, which one works the best and easier for Henry? One other question that I love to ask you is can you swim inside the pool with dexcom or not! Appreciate your help. Love your videos and please tell Henry that we love him and he is doing a wonderful job😊😊😊

Yes, he's on the Omnipod and we LOVE it! Dexcom can get wet with no problems.

If you can I would recommenced getting Henry an Apple Watch. Any series will do as they connect to the dexcom app and all he would have to do is lift his wrist and his number would appear!

I want too but there's a few reasons I'm hesitant. One reason is that they are having issues at school with other kids and their smart watches. Kids are not allowed to use them. Things have been going so well at school..I just don't feel like setting up a meeting to discuss it at this point. Another reason... It's just another thing.. Another thing to lose, charge, connect. But at the same time... Wow, would it ever been great for him. I'm torn.

My daughter has type 1 and has an Apple Watch, a gift from grandma, she is also not allowed to wear it at school. She uses it on the weekends when we are out and about and she just started to wear it for track practice. The watch worked surprisingly well even though her phone was sitting on the bleachers. She says it’s way more convenient while she is wearing it to not stop and open her bag plus we were able to turn the sound off so we don’t have one more thing alarming us. She just informed me that It will vibrate when she’s high or low. I didn’t even know that.

Amy , how come he doesn't wear a smartwatch in order to avoid carrying a phone on him? My son wears a pump case because he is on a pump so he can't avoid it. From www.funkypumpers.com/ we use the clear pump cases, they are practical because the belt is thin so no sweating and no need to take out to see or to bolus. Kisses, take care
