Lovely video! So nice to know other people don't have perfect bloodsugars either! I'm due to get a new pump soon and omnipod is looking like my best option. I've watched all your videos so as far as I can tell you and Henry get on well with it, but is there anything you wish you knew about it before you got it, or anything that you wish could be changed? Do you have issues with losing insulin from having to do a set change before the insulin's all gone, or with having to do a set change early if you use more insulin than average and it runs out?

I was just diagnosed with Non-Diabetic Hypoglycemia (my blood glucose drops dangerously low without warning and I don't have diabetes). What stuff do you guys use to bring up low blood sugars?

15 carb juice boxes and candy. Starburst, swetish fish, Skittles etc.

@Michael Carney I have read his book and I have used some of his suggestions but not all of them. Please be considerate that everybody treats their diabetes differently. I have also picked up recipes from dream flight and tweaked it for my daughter who has been type 1 for 5 years

when we have pizza we always do a combined bolus 40 % up front and then 60 % over 5 hours and also 180% temp basal over 10 hours otherwise he will go low first and then super high all night

Oh wow...I never thought to increase basal for pizza night.... Good idea. This frozen kind doesn't affect him like pizza from a actual place.
