In today's vlog we head out as a family for some outdoor time outside of our yard and neighborhood so we went to a nature park! We found a park that was near the theme parks (about 30 mins away), we thought this would a good one to check out especially if any of you out there are looking for nature parks to visit while visiting the Orlando and Universal Orlando area. We head to Moss Park Orlando. This park offers RV camping, swimming, volleyball courts, public pavilions and hiking/nature trails. There is a $3 admission fee for 1-2 people and a $5 fee for up to 8 people. We also tested the neck gaiter face coverings with filters while we were there. We had mixed reviews on them (link is below). It felt so nice being outside and out of the house. There was a video that they posted 7 years ago that some may have found insensitive, which was taken out of context, but now are being attacked for. They have recently taken it down, but it was too late and some ignorant people got a hold of it and are now sharing it. For those freaking out about the heat and masks... yes when it’s hot they are rough but don’t forget that when it is that hot you also are going to be or should be drinking a lot of fluids which means you will be taking your mask on and off. I have worked full workdays with masks on and a wide variety of types, it’s an inconvenience but you can do it. There are very few true “medical“ reasons you can’t and your doctor would tell you if you had one of those reasons already.

@@RaeBell01 I have asthma. I've spent the last few months spending 12 - 16 hours working the COVID units, sweating in isolation gowns while wearing a fitted N95 mask. Never caused anything but some discomfort and odd squishy marks on my face. Those of us with asthma have worse symptoms and higher instances of hospitalizations with COVID, so carry an inhaler and wear the mask.

Rachel Bell No, there isn’t any real absolute contraindication to masks. There are a small number of people who should avoid wearing them over an extended time but it’s rare to have a physiological reaction.

Angela Schimmels I think the first key is one you feel the most comfortable with to wear for long periods of time. Short of a professionally fitted respirator, the masks civilians should wear pretty much just reduce how much you expel and how far it will go. I use a simple procedure mask ( some call a surgical mask ) and a neck gaiter I have for cooling.
