I have several of these units. The first thing I do right out of the box is to install the $14 Amazon fuel filter and hard plastic fuel line kit. Then I solder on the connections to the 12 volt input to connect a 12 volt LED light strip that I tape to the top of the fuel tank with aluminum foil duct tape. You can see the fuel from 30 feet away especially with red off road diesel fuel. I have a 10 liter dripless push button fuel jug and refuel on the run. After a few weeks, the trash particles in the fuel can be seen on the bottom of the tank. Adding fuel stirs up the trash and I have had one new fuel pump pick up a particle and seize up after 3 weeks of use with no filter. These units last a few thousand hours of operation before the fan bearings go out. Haha, no studio light available this afternoon......kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2WogKGeiJlpd5I

I love the idea with the light strip and I took a look at your video. I will look into getting a filter as well. I have a diesel heater pretty much identical another company wanted me to try out. Sorry for the late reply, I found your comment in the blocked list due to a link in it.
