Testing Out RICTA CLOUDS 92A Skateboard Wheels

I was looking for a hybrid wheel between cruiser and a hard wheel. I heard tons of great things about the Ricta Clouds, so I decided to try out the 92A wheels. Did they live up to the hype? You’re the second person to suggest those wheels. I’m considering trying either those or the Ricta 86. Can’t go wrong on the price of the mini logos though. I’m also gonna be trying out one of their blank decks in the future too

Nice video! You might find these wheels will work way better by using bearing spacers + speed washers and tightening the wheels right into the axles. The 'play' you get from loose wheels is causing metal on metal to hit against each other, slowing you down and making the ground feel even rougher than it is. The more uneven the surface, the more aggressively your bearings' inner races are hitting against the axle from all directions. You can get away with this on smoother ground without noticeably feeling the vibrations from the metal, but you need to tighten your wheels right in with a spacer so the urethane in the wheels takes more of the impact, rather than the metal. If you have any Q's about bearing spacers etc. hopefully I can help. Happy skating!!! 😊 💖

Nice video and honest review! I was planning to get that wheels but since you recommend 86a for that terrain will stick to my ACID wheels 86a! They are great on rough terrain.

Love that place. We walk there a few times a week, hoping to be able to do the same throughout the winter. Absolutely love skating there. I’ve actually killed some big deer there as well. They do a lottery system for bow hunting there. Such a great place

I just got these wheels and before I put them on watched this. Thanks Man made me wanna try them out cuz I was kinda on the fence of returning them... ps you got front side and back side mixed up... I used to think that since I'm turning towards my back its backs side or vice-versa, but its not... Think about the pivot like a 180 Ollie. What ever way you are facing first is the way you are spinning. So if you spin towards your back you face front then land so its front side and when you spin towards your front you face backwards in the air so its back side... I know it can be a lil confusing... I hope I explained it well cuz I don't feel like I did lol! 😁

If you said you think you’d prefer 86 a may I suggest mini logo hybrid 90a. I think you’ll appreciate the feel, they feel softer than my oj 87a both 52mm

i bought a skateboard on cl with these wheels on not only are they soft but they also slide like hard wheels. Best overall wheel in my experience i have the 54

So I bought these for my son who is just starting out (age 6). Skates mainly in a concrete indoor park but I’ll have him skating street too. Bought them because I’m hoping they give him some confidence starting out (stability, grip). We’ll see. Bought the 86a. What do u reckon?

OJ Super Juice 55mm 78a are my favorite so far for cruising. I like the 92a Ricta Clouds for crusty skateparks but I agree that they have a plastic like feeling to them & they aren't really meant for cruising cuz they're still a bit on the hard side. The 56mm or 54mm 78a Ricta Clouds would probably be the best out of the "Clouds" for cruising. I just personally really dig the shape of the 55mm Super Juices to where I even bought some for my brother too. - Colorado🏔
