If your hub is rated for 1kw, do you think its ok to be pulling up to 1,5kw? Also your battery is about 20Ah?

Which exact brand did you get? There are tons, most say top speed of 24 or 28mph, curious which one does your 36mph.
@kevinorghidan43842 жыл бұрын
It's not the brand, but the Wattage and the battery If you get a 1000w motor will get you to max 55 km per hour depending on the weight, or 1500w will get you to 65km per hour.

How far would a 48v 1000w 99,000ah battery go on 1 charge
@anthonyhadsell26733 жыл бұрын
48v*99000ah=4752000wh/1000=4752*30=about a hundred forty two thousdand miles assuming a top speed of 30mph although i think you mean to use mah instead of ah which would mean it could only go about 142 miles but thats still decent
@zantesh4 жыл бұрын
Is the jump from 48v to 52v worth it? And do i need to get an ebike kit (the ones that don't include batteries)that is listed as 52v?or will a 48v hub motor allow 52v from the battery?
@lliwmc4 жыл бұрын
If you over volt the 48v motor with 52v batteries it improves your top end and its fine to do on most 48v kits, i think there maybe 1 particular bafang kit you cant or shouldnt use 52v with but the typical hub motor kits on ebay tend to be fine and improve better on 52v. Hope ive been of some help as the youtuber has gone ghost

Went straight to 52. It should have more power with more volts
@DyLemmaOG Жыл бұрын
@@lliwmc Motors don't have voltage as far as I know. They just know wattage. The battery and controller is where you want to have the right voltages. You could use a 72v battery and controller on a 750w motor but you'd need a very small amp controller so you don't go crazy on wattage. That's just in theory though and not worth it at all, just an example.

Great vid its been interesting. I have the Tongsheng 250w 36v mid motor. On flat roads with little wind I can hold 35 mph for a short effort, roughly half a mile. I would get up to 65 miles distance using level 2 of 4, and about 25 miles on level 4 with my 36v 11.6 AH battery. My bike is a light-weigh road machine, and I am a life-time cyclist, although over 225ib and 60 y/o. I think with a light-weight machine and you putting in a good effort you would make some very interesting numbers with the 1000 watts and big battery.
@ianmangham45702 жыл бұрын
No way you're getting anywhere near 65 miles.

Mine does about the same35-37 mph I have a 1500 watt Volemart motor and a 48Volt 20 mah battery on a Electra townie bike all for less than $800. It will do 40 mph with a good tailwind.

I wonder howmuch of the acceleration is lost to the suspension though. Probably worth the trade off especially for be with my bad body.
