Pro mini works great for me! All the negatives I have seen online are a result of operator error and a lack of knowledge about resistivity & density characteristics of PM,s. SS - your vids the best explanation I have seen and your examples are clever. 🤓

I have the same unit and it works very well and worth the money IMO. If someone can afford to spend/save for 1 oz of gold they can get this unit. Like you mentioned if you’re selling anything gold or silver on any type of volume you should have a tester, especially if you are going to estate/yard sales and such to source what you’re selling. Just my .02

What’s your thoughts on a 1924 Peace Dollar that reads almost to the end of the red zone on the right, but passes the dimension test and the Pocket Pinger. I thought it was most certainly a fake but it passed the dimension test as well as the pinger.

Nice video but I’m a bit confused with the 2021 silver Kennedy. Are you saying it’s copper? In 2019 the mint changed the silver coins to 99.9%. So the 2021 Kennedy should be tested for .999 silver. Did I miss something? It still showed in the green when set for 90%. Please help me understand this. Thanks

That's only for Silver Proof half dollars which come in Proof Sets... the business strikes are still copper.

@WorldMoneyWins10 ай бұрын
@@tonypolistina3357 I like the app interface. I barely ever use the bridge for the large bars. Measuring is nicer, and the actual unit is smaller. I have extra iPads laying around here so that isn't an issue. I don't know if I can think of a benefit to buying the Pro.

Why do some Silver Eagles test in the yellow although they pass the dimensions test? I bought them from the same renowned dealer and all the other coins I bought together with the Eagle (e.g. Britannia, Maple, Krugerrand) tested in the green. Only the Eagle failed the test. Thank you.
@Pacificstacker2 жыл бұрын
From what I read the pro mini is calibrated for 4 9's not 3. So if it is 999 it should be in the yellow however just because it says 999 doesn't mean it not higher than 999. Most of my eagles test in the green

Hey Silver Seeker, i see you have the blue cord that’s attached to the back of the Pro Mini. I assume it’s a USB-C plugin for power…is there a reason you prefer the USB-C over the regular power adapter that came with the Pro Mini? Just wondering. 🤔

that 40% was pretty much right on the green line so it was really really close to being "within spec"" 90%... haha just failed. I wish some place would rent these rather than making us pay so much. Thats a lot of silver to buy for that money.

Hey S. S. Like watching your videos on the call around to shops for prices but, this video has some contradictive things going on. On the silver round you showed the line test and it was a little too big and the 10 ounce silver bar as well. That being said you just adjusted it and it's all good. When performing the line test on the Kennedy Halfs you said that "the lines must line up". But the Kennedy half 2021 didn't, and you said that it means that it is fake. This is where the contradiction in the video is. but, let's say " if I went to A Local coin shop and they did this test they could use this line test and say that my silver round or bar don't meet the standard and they are fake"! Then I would be swindle out of my silver "if I didn't know any better". Not saying that all shops would be dishonest but they are out there. Just trying to clarify that these test tools are not 100% accurate!
