Jardier, In other video they mentioned that this monitor is hard to mount on a SIM rig. Did you had any trouble doing this? Are you still using it, I was planning to buy it

@@Rvdb8832 Hey mate! Its my main monitor still! I love it works SO far awesome! :) I Just had to use little longer screws but didnt have any issues as I can remember with this one cause it has standard vesa mount :) Previous older model you had to have special mount but not this one :)

@@Jardier aah thanks for your fast responds! I have to sim lab P1-X so I would probably be okay with this monitor. So I just have to buy a sim rig mount that supports Vesa mount. Great content! thanks

I agree with you, ultrawide monitors are great! I love my "34" ultrawide Alienware curved monitor and I'm using it with RTX 3080. Perfect for gaming (simracing) and watching movies.

i just bought 2 of these yesterday, but how the hell u turn off the freesync on pc, usally u can go into the monitor settings and turn it off, but i cant seem to find it, and its always on when im going on my rx 6950... please help

Ips panels can not have 1ms response time for now (2021). 4 ms more real.

@AndreyCamper Why is that ? They marketing it like 1 ms and I have a 1 ms option but to enable it I must close G-Sync which is not ideal..

The only screens that are actually capable of a =>1ms pixel transition time are oled and crt. Even tn panels can only occasionally peak around 1ms and usually average around 3ms

Considering the AOC too! The price for the flat Ultrawide now is just 268£ on Amazon! The Mobiuz is 650£ with 5 amazon instalment payments

I'm not a fan of IPS, I'm a dark room gamer and I've always preferred the greater contrast and decent black levels which you get with the better VA monitors, happily these days I've switched to OLED and I think a 34 inch 21:9 is perfect for sim racing if you don't have space for triples. The superior response times of OLED make 165Hz feel like 240Hz. Definitely worth checking this size/format out for sim racing.

Did you try racing at night? I have a similar display from a fairly cheap Singaporean brand (PrismPlus) with a VA panel and I absolutely hate the ghosting effect. Racing at night is simply not possible, and I tried all the settings and even contacted support for that. Looking to change to an IPS because of that, and I’m curious if it’s visibly better than VA for that.

Any help over here… I struggle to see the stoplights of the cars in front of me when they are like more then 2 meters away… especially at night ! I have 27” 1080p triple monitor setup and have Antialiasing on KTAA and Epic. Bloom=Epic, Car LoD=100%, all many others on low and medium… I tried everything on Epic but still the stoplights are too dim when cars are more then 2m away from me, which isn’t ideal offcourse. If I use FXAA then the stoplights are very good but then there is jagged edges everywhere on track/fences,… which is very disturbing… So any advice to make stoplights brighter, visible with antialiasing KTAA ? Thanks in advance ! 🏁

Jardier, what are your In Game camera settings, specifically Distance? I mean after you set your FOV, do you do anything else with Distance?

Nice review :). I'm currently using the LG 35WN75C for normal use and gaming (mainly racing). It's a 1440p 35" curved VA QHD ultrawide panel, does max 100 MHz 5ms gtg on DP. The VA panel has great colors and viewing angles. Also the monitor has a ton of features. It's a great middle ground for normal use (i do a lot of 3D) and gaming for it's price, it cost me a bit over €500. I have it on a custom wall bracket so i can pull it towards me for racing and back for normal use. Great monitor.
