Kudos to you for doing this! I feel the nerves killing you and the people you talk to, or maybe I'm projecting cause I'd rather get in the wrong train than ask people for directions 🤣 BUT in the right environment and feeling ready, I've done public speaking in front of hundreds of people. So, with that humble brag out of the way 🤣 here's my attempt at a few useful suggestions: 1. Choose a place where you know for a fact private security won't give you trouble, so you don't feel the nerves of watching over your shoulder ( I don't know about you but I hate braking rules, I see security so much as looking in my direction and I'm out of there man haha) 2. Write your questions and have them in flashcards like a TV presenter, makes you look like you know what you're doing and so people feel like you know what you're doing and so you feel like you know what you're doing. 3. Choose a place where people are relaxed, like a public park, lots of those around London, a Uni campus?? Or something like. That way people aren't in a rush so you don't need to feel like you're interrupting them and they don't feel like you're interrupting them. 4. Write in one short sentence on an A4 that you hang around your neck what people could win if they play your game. No need to make it £100, people love the feeling of winning, even £10~£20 would make people feel like it's worth trying. And also lots of people love a challenge, especially if there is something they can get out of it, no matter how small. The sign helps you not have to feel awkward trying to talk to people but rather let them wanna come to you. 5. Print your channel's name on the back of your flashcards and also have a QR code that take people to subscribe, that way if someone is curious or doubts you're legit they can check it out. 6. As for ideas of what to ask when out in the streets, you could pick five topics and ran them by your followers using your community tab and let them choose, that would help you get more ideas when you're not sure as well as checking the questions. 7. For next video ideas to interview people on, here are some at the top of my head: 7.1 take trivias from the internet like "the most difficult trivia of.. blablabla" you say Harry potter could be one video, or any franchise really. (The narrower the subject the more questions you will come up with or find online but also the more chances you'll find people who know what you're talking about, franchises spend millions making sure the general public KNOWS Harry potter or kung-fu panda or star wars, studios don't try to make sure every knows who made which movie, so that plays against you) 7.2 take inspiration from game shows from the 90's, anyone who remembers them will find them fun and cool thanks to nostalgia and anyone that doesn't remember them might find them cool and new. So you could use your topics that match the channel like TV and movie franchises but with the format of one of the games in a show, like trivias, word puzzles etc. That's all, the most important thing is to feel prepared, not to be prepared but to feel prepared, if for you that means writing all your questions and studying them till you remember them, cool just be careful cause that could make you feel a bit stiff. If to you feeling prepared is just writing the questions on your flashcards and just being familiar with them that's perfect as well. At the of the day, when you interview someone you want them to feel comfortable, to relax and forget about the camera and simply have a chat with you like you're a friend, to achieve that you need to help them feel comfortable and you can only achieve that when you feel comfortable which will be a lot easier if you feel like you have some degree of control of the situation, and at every turn say what you say and ask what you wanna ask confidently knowing two things 1. They have no idea what your question is supposed to be, so it doesn't matter if you asked the wrong one and 2. You can always just have a friendly chat and if it's useless for the video you'll edited it out, so there's no pressure for it to be fun or entertaining in the first go. Hope this helps! I really admire you and how hard you work on coming up with fresh ideas, I really enjoy your videos and I think you're a really funny and interesting person, so the streets of London deserve to have you out there challenging strangers with trivias and fun haha All the best!

Cool idea! I like how you’re trying new ideas. I think it would be helpful if you had a big sign so you don’t have to explain in detail what you’re doing every single time. It also looks like you were in a business area so I think it would be interesting if you went to a place like a college campus (if allowed) or a park where there would be younger people and parents who have kids that watch all these movies.

You could ask some Disney and/or Pixar trivia questions. You could turn it into one of those game shows where the questions get progressively harder for a bigger prize after every question. You should probably make it multiple choice since people seem to not know much about Disney or Pixar.

That was fun to watch, maybe have a sign explaining what you're doing (can you name 30 pixar films for ______ prize? For example), maybe just so they don't think you're with a cult (I was raised in a religious cult and know just how uncomfortable approaching people can be, and I know how many might think you're doing a cult thing 😂.) You're approaching people for a fun reason so I think as you do it more it'll get easier and you'll find more into it people. Maybe try doing this around cinemas while something animated is running there, or outside a mall? Some malls give you permission to do surveys for publicity for their shops, if you throw in an "here at this cool shopping centre/mall/cinema..." Free publicity for them, and if you don't feel like you'll be run off you can get more comfortable. I wouldn't start out doing this more than once or twice a month as it can be really draining, but if you can get places that are welcoming for you to do this near or on their property it could become fun and less awkward over time. I'm proud of you for trying something new, you got this 👍🏽 and if you never do it again that's fine too.
