It's obvious that your main concern is maintaining a 66 Book canon. Did you know that Jesus on two seperate occations and James also once quoted books outside of the accepted 66 books. Btw, Both Jesus and James when quoting those books called them " Scripture" Since Jesus Himself testifies of books outside of the 66 books, I'm gonna believe Jesus over you guys.

Didn't Jesus said that angels DO NOT have sex? Didn't Jesus Himself said after His ressurection, that spirit doesn't have flesh and bones? While we have angels who seduce the daughters of men, and had sex with them in the book of Enoch. I know that Jude wrote about angels who walk outside of their boundary, but this could mean the demons aka the fallen angels. In Jesus's time, there never were hybrids of angels and humans, and we have A LOT of demons and evil spirits work around. If the fallen are real, then there should exist some hybrids in Jesus's time. Because in the book of Enoch, there were hybrids. But there weren't. And MOST importantly, Jesus is the Son of Man, not Enoch.

Hebrews 11:13 does not say Enoch died. I believe Enoch will experience death along with Elijah. Revelation illustrates two prophets in the end times that cannot be harmed until God allows it. I believe those two prophets are Enoch and Elijah brought back to finish their work.

@@ricoparadiso I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. What we read in scripture is that John the Bapist was Jesus' cousin. He was his own man. Elijah is a completely different person. Elijah was a prophet about 850 years before Christ was born. The scriptures tell us that Elijah, like Enoch was taken by God. Those are the only two individuals in the Bible that mention being taken by God and not dying. In accordance to God's plan He will bring Elijah and Enoch back to be prophets in the end times. Revelation mentions the two prophets who can't be touched/hurt until He allows it, I just believe (because of the reasons I just mentioned) that it is Elijah and Enoch. If the "bringing them back" part seems hard to believe just remember that Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, keeping in mind that Lazarus was actually dead compared to Elijah and Enoch who didn't die.

I don't agree that Hebrews 11:13 states that Enoch died. Hebrews 11:5 does clearly state that Enoch was taken by God, then verse 6 seems to give a breaking sentence that separates the thought, then comes back in verse 7 to continue the "by faith" segment. But I think verse 6 separates Enoch from the "all" the author bundles together in verse 13. Also, Jesus Himself quoted the Book of Enoch to the Pharisees and told them they err in not knowing the SCRIPTURES! So I really do not believe this was researched out biblically. Just my opinion. He has confused the Enoch from the Cain linage which is what most do when trying to contest the book of Enoch. There are 2 Enoch's & the Evil Enoch had many writings that are used to confuse the truth of GOD.

@Scott M Sykes Hebrews 11:5 does though. Heb 11:5 - "By faith "Enoch" was translated so as not to see death, and "was not found, because God translated him." For before his translation, he had obtained witness to have been pleasing to God." ( see Gen. 5:24 ) (LITV) "So as not to see death" - is very unambigious, that is very plain - Enoch didn't die. I personally believe he will be one of the two witnesses of Revelation 11

Actually I’ll argue you here on just this 66 book point. There’s a good reason why Jesus arrives on the 40th book of the Protestant Bible, it’s the end of the waiting period. There’s a good reason why the New Testament is 27 books too(3x3x3, the Cube number). 66 isn’t a bad number, 666 is a bad number. That said, we agree, Enoch is originally inspired but there are errors added to the text. Most notably Chapter 22. Enoch is meant to be dissected by the Holy Spirit. Most but not all of it will pass the test. GOD Bless!

Sorry. You just aren’t accurate. It was quoted in the Bible and evidence suggest Jesus was familiar with it and it probably predates all the other books. Daniel even references a book that was for future believers in the end times. Enoch (through about the first 54 chapters) fits this prophecy perfectly. It was also found with the Dead Sea scrolls and new manuscript translations matched the older ones found with the scrolls.

Jude. Quoted in Jude. Jewish tradition supports it. One of the oldest surviving Christian Cultures (Ethiopia) and many small orthodox Christian sects still have the Book of Enoch in their cannon. Read it and it’s apparent why the Jesuits would want to remove it from modern translations.

@@franklinmc4457 The Nephilim were real as stated in Torah. There is no need for the book of Enoch to understand this fact. The book of Enoch is not inspired by YHVH. If you read the Torah you get enough information on giants, angels, and their interactions with men and women to be aware.

I don’t know if this was intentional, or if 119 ministries just did not read the entire book of Enoch, but they definitely left some very important details out and falsely accused the writer of claiming to be the messiah. I took their advice literally, “test everything”. It IS my responsibility and I have come to see this teaching on Enoch inaccurate. They spoke of one section from the book of Enoch, claiming that the writer is proclaiming himself the messiah. I believe that they were referencing 1 Enoch chapter 46. I highly encourage everyone to read it for themselves. It bothers me when people make up stuff so that they can take a definitive stand. Also, the argument about when it was written or the literature style, to me does not warrant a “this is a blasphemous book” stand. Why not take the stand of “we’re not 100% sure ourselves so we say read with extreme caution.

If Jesus quoted Enoch as scripture then who is anyone who is a believer to say that Enoch is not a valid book. To say that is to say Jesus quoted from a false work. Does any believer really want to go there??? YES!!! ALL should read the work for themselves. It is a very heady work and one truly needs to know their scriptures before reading it. I've read all3 Enochian books and Book 1 is the most accurate. Books 2 and 3 are adulterated IMHO and not trustworthy. If Joshua and 2 Samuel refer to it then it should be considered a genuine work otherwise to say it's a false work is to then say the bible is promoting a false book. We all need to use a little common sense and lots of prayers asking for discernment from the Holy Spirit when reading ANY work. If I might: 1 Enoch has chapters about the 364 day calendar. THIS BOOK is the TRUE ENOCH. 2 ENoch (SLavonic) is an adulterated work which attempts (badly it does) to fit our actual solar year of 365 and 1/4 days [along with pagan Gregorian calendar months]. This is incorrect and there are other parts in it also that are suspect. 3 Enoch is more rabbinic commentary and leaves out crucial calendar info. ALSO -- [and this is just a prediction it is pointing to (YES....I'm going to say it) aliens. Chapter 33 has text: "EACH ONE WITH THREE FINGERS" Chapter 44 alludes to GRAY PEOPLE. I have copious notes for all 3 books and various copies from different translators who published. So far 1 Enoch (Ethiopian) is the correct one. I hope that helps. IMHO stay away from the other two.

When does Jesus quote Enoch? I know Peter and Jude do, but we don't know if its the same version that is available through the Ethiopian church today. The parts of the book of Enoch found with the Dead Sea scrolls has some different words in it, not that it changes the meaning, but its not inerrant like the scriptures. I think the first 15 minutes of this video really explains the history aspect well. I appreciate that you guys didn't come out like a hard hammer for or against it, but rather explained the historical backdrop, the reason Jesus and the disciples were familiar with the text and why it is different than the rest of accepted Holy Scripture. Jude directly quotes the Book of Enoch in the New Testament. It is part of Ethiopian Canon, one of the oldest established churches. This book both elaborates on Genesis 6 and further solidifies the truth about the Earth, Sun, and Moon. I have no doubt why it was done away with.

And yes there were giants in those days. Most of everything was giant, that’s the point. Genesis is showing the proof of giants because this is what our archeologists find today and can’t explain it except through the Bible lens. Giant reptiles aka dinosaurs, giant animals, giant insects. Hence why the bible says there were giants on the earth in those days.

If the book of Jasher was not scriptural, why would the book be mentioned in two very distinct places in the gospels? First mentioned in Joshua 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? Yes! the first section of 1 Enoch describes God showing himself to the people of Israel at Sinai and it describes the covenant that God made with his people and declares that God keeps that same covenant. The rest of the bible agrees and shows time after time how God keeps those same promises with his people.

Enoch was not an angel. The Bible never states that Enoch went to Heaven, just that he was saved from death. If you believe scripture, Yeshua says specifically: John 3:13 “No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.” This verse should shut all discussion down about the topic of Heaven. Elijah was transported to another place, we know this because he sends a letter to Jehoram. All of the prophets talk about going to sleep in the dust, nothing mentioning going to heaven and looking down on the sorrows of this world or being an angel. David is said to be “sleeping with his fathers” it mentions nothing of going to heaven.

The only place where Lucifer appears is Isaiah 14:12 and the name means Light-Bringer and in this verse refers to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Jude is included in the Bible, he spoke of Enoch he wasn’t mocked for it. After, Paul spoke Enoch to the Jews in Hebrews He was inspired by the Lord. Are we to say we can’t trust Paul writing that Enoch was translated?? Yet these are saying they trust some scholar instead??? Or doctrines of men? Are we not to test all things with the Bible? I personally think every mature believer grounded in Scripture should read Enoch prayerfully. I have benefited greatly from it in my understanding of Genesis. It has also changed the way I view world history and the history of God's people. It goes into detail about what the fallen angels were doing and how genetic mad science and sorcery was introduced to mankind. It also gives more context as to why we have all of these same creatures showing up in mythology and lore all across the globe; things like mermaids, dragons, giants, goblins, minotaurs, fairies, centaurs, werewolves, shapeshifters, bigfoot, UFOs and aliens. All these creatures trace their origins back to some kind of supernatural source which we know as the fallen angels who wanted to create their own reality on earth in rebellion to God. As it was in the days of Noah so shall it be in the days of the coming of the son of man. The reason why I believe what Enoch says is because I am seeing the same things come back nowadays, the way people are playing with genetics and even the human soul. And the way sorcery and all kinds of demonic doctrines are coming more to the forefront and even being taught to children in schools. The way the basics of natural order like gender is being rejected in favor of creating our own false realities, that means we can have sex with anything and everything just like the people did before the flood. This opens the door to sex with demons which will create all kinds of problems. I believe these extra details presented in Enoch will help protect God's people even more from deception because we have a better idea of what to look out for.

What Jesus says in Matthew 22:30 can only be found in 1 Enoch. Please refer to verse 29. And Jude alludes to 1 Enoch many times before directly quoting it, but you'd have to study "all scripture" (including 1 Enoch) to know that.

I thank God that ancient B.C. scholars compiled the writings of Enoch and made them available in one concise document. Together, they give us a much better understanding of events that took place BEFORE the Great Flood... plus much more, of course. It is not relevant whether it is included in the "canon" or not. What is important is that we have available to us a greater understand of God's work that He has preserved for us over the centuries. Apostle Jude is a reliable man of Christ and of The Father in Heaven. He clearly mentioned "Enoch Seventh from Adam". It is at his precise words when he quoted (Jude 1:14-15) verse from the Book of Enoch (1:9) both are parallel. This is full well enough Enoch's scripture was indeed inspired. Dead Sea Scrolls and Ethiopian version. We have historians who said that those two books were Scripture. Pharisees and Rome eventually rejected them because it is pro Torah and Messianic. It goes against their religion. If people want to reject Enoch, Jubilees, then to be consistent, they should reject NT. I don’t recommend that. St Augustine with Hippo and Carthrage reinstated Revelation back into the Canon. But Enoch wasn't reinserted because Augustine doubted the Genesis 6 accounts. Despite being historically affirmed Augustine's faith wasn't strong enough.

I own the Paul C. Schneiders version and It doesn't say (in Enoch 71:13-14) that Enoch is the Son of Man. I always feel like so many people misquote apocryphal books. I was hoping that this man would put my mind at ease and convince me that there are only 66 valid books and everything else is a fraud (that would make life so much easier) but the more I look into it... the more I see that these books are valid. Maybe not canonical but definitely valid or at the very least credible.

Keeping an open mind to study these "controversial" books, IMHO is proof of a seeker of truth. In my own experience, it seems we are on a mission to mine out nuggets of truth, or call them pieces of the big picture puzzle. Sometimes, it only takes finding that one piece for the picture to make sense. I firmly believe that many authentic works that contain truth have been kept from us and only the ones that serve an agenda have been allowed to be given to us and not in an incorrupt way, but certain words are changed to change the very meaning and understanding of the verse in question and since it doesn't match the context of surrounding verses, it can cause confusion which then makes the student give up. A very ingenious way for the devil to keep one from knowing the truth. I could share how this began with the Hebrew language, but it's too long to share here. The bottom line is this: NO ONE should let these "inconsistencies" keep them from the basic simple FAITH of Jesus Christ.

Saying it makes use of passages from the prophets assumes the 1 Enoch was written after the prophets were written. According to 1 Enoch, the book is about the visions Enoch was shown by God before even the flood. He was shown the things that would happen & so were the prophets, so it would make sense for them to agree on prophecies & overlap, so saying it couldn't really have been Enoch since he couldn't have known what the prophets knew when he was prophesying is not a solid argument. You could say the same thing about the prophets: they were faked and must have been conjured by people after Israel rose and fell into exile and required their land in the modern day since they couldn't have known of these things in the era the prophets lived in. See? You first have to prove the book is fake before proving the prophecies in them weren't real prophecies if those prophecies line up real events. If the prophecies didn't line up, then that would be evidence against it, but since it does, it could just the same be evidence in favour of it being real. Also, no book is written while the events in the book takes place. Books are ALWAYS written after the fact. Sometimes, they're written immediately afterwards, like a dream journal you write in when you awaken. Some are compiled from journals and conversations.

Has it not occurred to you that the prophets referenced are giving a nod to Enoch, the same way both Jude and Jesus himself do? Or that what was was revealed by God to the other prophets would not also be reveled to Enoch? Enoch does say God reveled all to him. Furthermore, why do you suppose that mount Sinai would be unknown to Enoch? There is no record of where he traveled or what he saw in his 365 years in the region. I wasn't the biggest fan of the 3rd statement made in the conclusion. We should have a definitive answer is the Book of Enoch Canon or not and if it is not can why are you even recommending us a way of studying it? It should be refuted just like you've done with other possibly followed ideologies that you have already refuted on this channel. I'm still not sure of The Book of Enoch but what I do know is that it doesn't contradict the Bible in any way it only adds more detail to the pre-flood events and the return of Yahuwah. With all that said, I think what we need to figure out is what are the qualifications/requirements to be considered part of the so-called "Bible Canon", 66 or 88 books depending on what you read. I am almost 100% certain that the Catholic Church and Constantine at the Council of Nicea tampered with some of the books definitely giving us the 66 book Canon we have now. It is so crucial to know what books are part of scripture and what are not because the Bible alone definitely is missing explanations that are found in other books but were these books man-made or removed from scripture? *Again, what we need to find out what are the requirements to pass the "test"of being part of the Bible Canon?*

This may or may not be helpful but I have been studying and researching on this issue and I found out that the book of the watchers (Enoch 1-36) are preserved substantially in the Dead Sea Scrolls and is the only one that is credible. The Aramaic Dead Sea Scrolls of Enoch are the oldest and closest to the original, the rest are so fragmented that we can't be too sure it is the same as the other manuscripts in Greek, Ethiopic, Syriac, or Coptic versions. So you can scrap the rest. The book of the Watchers gives us all the details we can't find in the canon of Scripture. This ties with everything from Genesis 6:2-4 with the fallen angels copulating with women and having giant sons(Nephilim), to the reason why God had to press the reset button(the flood), to the return of the giants(Nephilim) after the flood, and all the way to Jude saying quoting Enoch 1:9 which is in the book of the Watchers, and even in 2Peter 2:4 which says, "For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them in chains to be held in gloomy darkness until their judgment." This is the summary of the book of the Watchers(Enoch 1-36). Peter obviously knew that the book of Enoch(specifically the book of the Watchers), told this story in great detail which Jude echoes. The apostles and the early church fathers knew this book. But then again, I can only say that I am only convinced with the book of the Watchers, the rest you can just set aside. I hope this helps, it finally gave me peace of mind in regards with this matter.

The Ethiopian and Dead Scrolls have Enoch along with other books in Tanakh. There are 6 “canons” or more correctly, versions of Scripture. Dead Sea Scrolls, Ethiopian, Aramaic, Armenian, Roman, protesting Roman. It’s evident that Dead Sea Scrolls and Ethiopian preserves more Scripture (two witnesses). Later on, we see people have messed with Scripture and removed what they did not like (not because the Most High told them) or it went against their religion. This is why religion is a lie. The whole Scripture is true. Scripture does not mean a certain number of writings. I believe there are over 100 books.

Canon means Roman law. Canonized means approved by Roman law. I don’t trust the Roman authority (the Catholic Church) to decide what is inspired and what is not. Instead, test for yourself everything written. If it agrees with scripture, great! To deny this book as scripture would be tantamount to calling Jude (among others in the scriptures) a liar. We would in fact be calling God a liar. Jude quotes from this very book. Jude also called Enoch a prophet. He also gives him antiquity (with his lineage). Jude preached from this mans book to his congregation. Jude never would have taken the liberty to say such things if they were not true. God loved this man so much that He took Him to live with Him in heaven. This is a prime example of why John said in 2nd John 20 & 21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Like any men or women of today, you have been taught by the same ones that Jesus warned us about. The false teachers. The nephilim's educational system (now called the seminary). About 1/3 of the way through the video and it seems to me that he has a conclusion that he already reached and is now making arguments to support that. I personally don’t have an opinion about Enoch yet. But when he talks about “heavenly secrets” didn’t Paul receive heavenly secrets? Didn’t Moses receive secrets that no one else was told when he was given the first five books of the Bible? How about Isaiah and the rest of the Prophets? They were given specific info no one else was given. So that’s a strange argument to keep making as if that makes 1 Enoch unworthy. 👉🏼 Edit: watching the entire video leads me to the conclusion that Enoch is not to be considered inspired on the level of holy scripture.

I have a Question? Jesus said it will be just like the days of Noah. Well in those days, the fallen ones walked on Earth. Could it be a tell tell sign? In Daniel, it says there will be a book sealed until the end of times. What's to say the Book of Enoch isn't that book. Sealed until the people who needed to know what's coming. I'm just saying. The bible, in Daniel and in revolution talk about the book that will be sealed until the end times. Genesis 6.4 talks about the sons of God mating with the daughter of man. Their offsprings were Giants. And you learn more from the book of Enoch. And it matches to the bible. I'm sorry I dont agree with your opinion.

That many died in the past that would not follow in the teaching of today. And today people follow blindly without researching or reading for themselves. Doesn't the word say many will die because of lack of knowledge. What I have learned are that the 1st 5 books of Moses. The old testament Teaches the root of God religion. And the book of Enoch as it states in the book it was written for the generation that will be living in the END of Time. As e know it.. When God returns. Deuteronomy 13, God teaches his people...it says... if anyone comes teaching anything different than what God has put in place with the 1st 5 books of Moses. Than that person was put to deaths because they would teach against God word. God does not like to be worshipped like the pagans worship their gods. Pagan roots- Sunday worship, Easter 🐣, good Friday, Ash Wednesday and Christmas, it was really the son god ra birthday, an Egyptian god, not Jesus. Jesus was born around September according to the bible. And his real name is, Yoshuah in Hebrew and Joshua in English. And I can keep going on and on about all the things they have changed throughout the centuries. If there was NO GOD. WHY GO TO ALL THIS TROUBLE AND CHANGE EVERYTHING OF GOD. AND CORRUPT IT. Just one addition, the bible didn't say that Enoch did die in Hebrews 11:13,It was referring to all who did die, but it clearly states that "he did not see death," the bible did point out all who died in the rest of Hebrews 11 and they named most of the previous individuals except Sara and Enoch. But we read about Sara's death in Genesis so. Just pointing that out. So I believe it's contrary to say he did not die but died afterwards.

You say Enoch couldn't have written the book because he quotes so much of the latter prophets after him , then you do not understand that God says He changes not , He is the same yesterday , today ,and forever ,He declares the End from the Beginning, That he is the first ,and The last , the beginning and the end .. Enoch did not die, nor did Elijah, Enoch and Elijah are the two end-time witnesses described in Rev 11. That was the only reason why God took both of them alive since the two witnesses will finally die and the remain dead for three and a half days. Rev:11:9 God people will only die once since the second death is final. The second death is for the wicked people, Rev 20:14-15, There are no more resurrections for those who suffer the second death.

Why were Enoch and Elijah both taken alive by God, if God didn't have a special reason in mind for them,? Thus the same can be said of the book of Enoch! Also since ALL scriptures is inspired of Yah... then "ANY" scripture mentioning Any other book thats not in the 66 books also has to be considered inspired(such as the book of Yasher). Why?.. I'm a very exact person when it comes to using correct terms. For anyone who is descended form Abraham to call another descended, an antisemite, they are also speaking against themselves. God states quite clearly that the nations can worship their other gods, but Israel, ONCE THEY ENTER INTO COVENANT with Him, are not allowed to. Who are these church fathers to decide for us what is or not the inspired word of God? Only the Ruach Hakodesh (Holy Spirit) can guide us in to all truth Jn 16:13. HE will tell us what is inspired word of Yahuah, not those people who decided for us what we can or cannot read. At 27:25 the narrator says that early Christians rejected Enoch as authoritative. Not exactly. Do these people actually read church history. When the council decreed what is scripture, in the case of the OT they followed the Jewish Torah. Books of the Law, Prophets and writings. The original Catholic Bible included the non canonical since they were included in the Septuagint . Enoch would have been included except for one small problem - Arius. Arius and his followers believed that Jesus was born human and did not exist before this time. The Book of Enoch presented a problem with their views and they made a very successful program of destroying every copy of Enoch that they could find. However Enoch was included in the Ethiopic Bible. Of course God already knew this and that is why Enoch states that HIS BOOK would not be available to most Christians but will be available in the end times.
