My very first Sabbath and already have been placed in a shopping situation with my Adult Granddaughter. I've given in to her on different things, yet when she says "Gran, you've been non practicing for 65 years, I'm sure Yahway isn't going to have an issue for a couple more days". I tried to tell her that now I'm aware, I have knowledge of the difference now, so if I just give in to another's pressure that easy, what does God really mean to me? I Love God, I respect God, I'm not willing to budge on this....even to make her "christmas" shopping easier for her. Yes, many will not understand, yet they have emulated most of my behaviors in learning and standing strong when my Beliefs of anything have been challenged. I Pray they will find that this is important to my very life. Thank You All for walking this walk, and generously teaching me and others about Truth, and Sacrifice. Oh, been off of pork and Shellfish for many months now. Yeshua is so worthy of much more than I can do to Worship Him! Shalom...

Respect! When I gently confronted my own mother about Sabbath and other such things her reply was that even though she saw the scripture, she had done it all her life and was unwilling to change. I pray I don't live long enough to think I can't conform my life to God's word.

I am a warden in an Anglican school dormitory. I already kept sabbath for 2 years now. But since I got work here few months ago, my chief said, when they interviewed me, they thought I was with my husband (we were with the charismatic church, but I decided to stop because the speaking in tongues and prosperity gospel, he still go there),so they also accepted me (for the vacancy, no one applied for almost 6 six months, and the only candidate were my husband and I). So you can imagine how the pressure is on me. Only my daughters and I celebrate sabbath. My husband not with me. My daughters have to missed many activities during Saturday, even now the little one will missed her 4x100 run and 2 other competition which will be held next week Saturday. I still can endure. I know the risk if I disobey any job given in Sabbath, I might be kicked out from the school. I might be jobless again. 2 pastors already met me to say I am wrong about the Sabbath after many verse I gave them. But I believe Abba is in control. I believe the seed will grow.

THE CHRISTIAN LIVES BY THE LAW OF CHRIST (Law of the Spirit) - We are not under the Mosaic Covenant; therefore, we are not obligated to keep the laws of the Mosaic Covenant. Insofar as we love God and love our neighbor, we keep the law of God in the New Covenant. We uphold the law by faith (Romans 3:31) and by love (Romans 13:8). We are under the Law of Christ (Galatians 6:2) and the Law of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2). There is confusion with the Law of Christ and the Law of Moses because they have similar commandments. But, because nine of the Ten Commandments can be found in the New Testament, it does not mean that the Law of Moses is still in effect. If a Christian steals, they break the law of Christ, not the Law of Moses. If we choose to keep part of the law (for example, dietary laws), we are free to do so, but keeping the Law of Moses is neither commanded or expected. To keep part of the Mosaic Law out of the belief that we are obligated to do so is to not have trust in the perfect and complete work of Christ.

@@andrewmartsch Certainly Jesus kept the Sabbath. He lived under the Law Moses. "But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law" (Galatians 4:4). As an observant Jew, Jesus was circumcised (Luke 2:21.) He kept the Passover (Luke 22:15). There is no mention of his observing the Sabbath after his resurrection, even though he remained on the earth for some 40 days. That would include at least five Sabbath days. The reason we find no further observance of the Sabbath is seen in the fact that the Sabbath and other Old Testament observances were abolished at the death of Christ. "When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ" (Colossians 2:13-17).

I live in a nursing home and am the only messanic here. So here I worship and keep the holidays. On Purim we had a brunch and I taught the story of Purim by using puppets I made. And Sukkott I had the maintenance man hang up a canopy for me and decorated with lots of homemade things I made including a paperchain to remind all of God breaking the chain of bondage. This year I'm making music notes black construction paper and paperdolls to show how we should all love each other. And of course lots of harvest times stuff. Thanksgiving decorations work great. Last year a Aid who works here made me a shag of autumn lights with lots of flowers. Love how this nursing home helps me keep our Holidays even if I am the only one. What a great witnessing tool.

Amen...an important note to keep in mind is that Saul/Paul did not counter God’s Torah. The Bereans and The Sanhedrin in Jerusalem proved him out through the Torah. It turns out that early converts walked away from all things Jewish and did exactly as Peter warned: twisting Paul’s writings...🙏

Paul didn't teach Torah-lessness (Lawlessness) according to Acts 21:20-24, Acts 24:5, 10, 14, 1 Tim. 6:3-5, as well as all the places he says he's going to keep different Feast Days. Like when he urges the hearer to keep Pesach (Passover), in 1 Cor. 5:7-8. I try to share these Truths with friends and family, but they mostly reject it, clinging to their pagan christian mixture... Sunday gathering were started in the upper room Resurrection Sunday then next gathering commanded by JESUS in Galilee where Thomas worshiped his LORD and GOD. The next recorded gathering was Pentecost 1st day. Paul would gather and break bread on the 1st day. The early Church always gathered on the 1st day. JESUS started the tradition and it remains unbroken for 1991 years today. Mk. 7 JESUS is confronting sabbath keeping Pharisee like yourself.

5 YEARS AGO !? I was really enjoying this teaching on the Shabbat. This guy gets the Scriptures and explains it smoothly, so it makes understandable and not anyone can teach like this, it's a gift from YAWEH. It's hard for me to retain any kind of information. I suffered head trauma from a motorcycle and truck accidents,separate times, but I'm really enjoying this video on the Lord's Sabbath. Very grateful. I didn't realize this was 5 years ago ! Finally! this was the best teaching on the Sabbath day. I was questioned it and the answered I received was the Sabbath was not for us but for the Jews and never questioned it again. However, today, I was compelled to listen to this video and now I know why. It is time for me to honor the Sabbath day as we are supposed to. Julie Rodriguez, FYI you're just blindly follow a teacher but you're to test his teaching whether it aligned with Scripture. Apparently, it contradicted Scripture as Christians in Rom7:4-6 were dead to the law of the letter and we're now resurrected in Christ to follow the law of the Spirit who gives us eternal life. Paul in 1Cor9:21 confirmed the he is under the Law of Christ thus he can't be under the Law of Moses inclusive the ten commandments with its Sabbath law, at the same time. Further in Mat5:17 Jesus fulfilled ALL the law perfectly thus since the ten commandments with its Sabbath law is part of the Law of Moses, thus all of them has become obsolete. Suggest read the Scripture and you won't be deceived by the false teachers which are rampant today. Repent because you're being deceived.

@@stephendavis5325 ; FYI it is not what I'm saying but it is what the Bible say. Are you a NT believer? If you are then you are under the new covenant of God. In case you’re unaware the ten commandments which originated from the Mosaic or old covenant which God made through Moses for ONLY the children of Israel. But we the NT believers are under the new covenant thus we don’t follow the Mosaic or Old covenant of which the Ten commandments is a part of. (Jer31:32; Heb8:13). Further, the correct answer is that it's because it is impossible for any human being (besides Jesus) to perfectly obey the Ten commandments…. The Hebrews were given a lot of rules and laws, the Ten Commandments began a whole slew of them. There are 613 laws in the Old Testament, Christ fulfilled them all. These laws said to have been given to Moses are not the laws a Christian is under. They are part of the contract (covenant) God made with the tribes of Israel Paul said if you are under the Law, you are under the curse. The prior covenant contained blessings for obediance and cursing for disobedience. By their own record, Israel was disobedient and were cursed into exiles. If you still insist to follow the ten commandments God say that’s not enough, first you must be circumcised then follow the 613 laws given to Israel? If you break one law you’re deemed broken the WHOLE law (James2, Gal5). So think over carefully before you embark to keep the law.

We are under the Law of Christ (Galatians 6:2) and the Law of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8:2). There is confusion with the Law of Christ and the Law of Moses because they have similar commandments. But, because nine of the Ten Commandments can be found in the New Testament, it does not mean that the Law of Moses is still in effect. If a Christian steals, they break the law of Christ, not the Law of Moses. If we choose to keep part of the law (for example, dietary laws), we are free to do so, but keeping the Law of Moses is neither commanded or expected. We don't keep the TORAH to be saved, we keep the TORAH because we have been saved; we keep the TORAH because we love GOD. @Matthew 22:37-40 Gen. 2:1,2 the word Shabat means ceased not 7th day. The sabbath was only given to the children of Israel's generation in the wilderness. That generation died out, the manna ceased and Joshua did not give them rest. They marched 7 straight days with out a sabbath day of rest. "If Joshua would have given them rest he would not of afterward have spoken of another day", Heb 4:8 The fruit of our salvation is CHRIST Rest in love. Our New Everlasting Covenant with the many is a covenant of love and Resurrection. The Mosaic Covenant offered no salvation, no resurrection. Mosaic fruit was only prolonged stay in the land, rain blessing and divine protection. It also came with curses being exile from the land, sword, famine and pestilence. So why would you Judaize the Mosaic law when we have a New Everlasting Covenant with 2 Commandments, 1048 additional instructions in love, life and resurrection? Truth? There is no truth in you.

The disciples were caught breaking Moses' Holy Sabbath day commandment law ... by picking and eating food on the Holy Sabbath day. When my wife and I began keeping all ten of the commandments psalms 111: 7,8,10. we lived 250 miles from the nearest town where we could find a church that still kept all of God’s ten commandments. We use to travel 250 miles one way to go to church. To have God’s affirmation what worth it all. We never missed a church service since, but for during our vacations.

JESUS WARNS THE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS Some years ago the Lord Jesus said, "Go to the phone book and call Adventist churches" because He said "no one was reaching out to them." I said, "They're good people." Then He said, "They believe lies." My response was that they say that God answers prayer on their television and radio programs. He said, "They deceive themselves." It seems that they are convinced Ellen White was a prophet and that her claims are true. People have placed her words above Scripture, and basically idolize the sabbath day. False doctrines are lies and you know that heresy is a work of the flesh as declared in Galatians chapter 5. Heretics do not inherit the kingdom of God. So this is a serious matter. Adventists believe the Sabbath (going to church on Saturday) is binding from Ellen White because the Lord Jesus did not command it. God wrote with his finger, but "Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son (Hebrews 1:2)." There is liberty in Christ concerning days according to Romans 14:5,6, so there's no sabbath or Sunday keeping commandments given in the New Testament. Therefore, the Sunday law mark of the beast is a hoax. Ellen White has her followers trying to earn points with God keeping the sabbath, but "by the deeds of the law no flesh shall be justified in his sight (Romans 3:20)." The 10 commandments are "the ministration of DEATH ENGRAVED IN STONES (2 Corinthians 3:7). Love is the heart of the moral law, not the sabbath day:"Love worketh no ill to his neighbor, therefore love is THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW (Romans 13:10)." The two great commandments also demonstrate this fact. The Sabbath commandment is nowhere quoted in the New Testament. The sabbath keeping "Jews both killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets...they please not God, and are contrary to all men...for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost (1Thessalonians 2:14-16)." In Acts they murdered Stephen and stoned Paul. The sabbath was a sign ONLY to Israel (Exodus 31:17) and therefore has nothing to do with the gospel and the gentiles. Jesus is the reality of things foreshadowed in the Old Testament, of which the Sabbath day was one as Colossians 2:16, 17 declares: the Sabbath was a shadow that pointed to Christ who is the fulfillment. This fact is clearly demonstrated in the book of Numbers 28:9, 10 where two lambs were offered ceremonially on the sabbath day which looked forward to the sacrifice of Christ. The Old Testament sacrifices, the priesthood and the Sabbath were abolished and Jesus became our rest. As Lord of rest, we just follow him.. He is "the author of eternal salvation unto all them that OBEY HIM (Hebrews 5:9)." We are to rest in His merits and the promises of God for we "are complete in him (Colossians 2:10)" and "...By grace are ye saved through faith... not of works lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto GOOD WORKS...(Ephesians 2:8-10)." Therefore, the rest of faith in Hebrews 4 is not the Sabbath day. It is exactly that - a rest of FAITH, not a day of the week. Judaizers are accursed for pulling Christians back into the Old Testament obsolete Jewish system(see Galatians 1:6-9). His sheep hear his voice and a stranger they will not follow(John 10). Paul went into the synagogues on the Sabbath in the book of Acts to preach to the Jews and their gentile converts as noted in Acts 13. The unbelieving Jews persecuted the apostles, therefore these were not believer's meetings, nor was the apostle Paul keeping the Sabbath. On the contrary, the believers met on the first day of the week - the day of the resurrection as seen in 1 Corinthians 16:2 and Acts 20:7. Therefore, going to church on the first day of the week is not taking the mark of the beast. Christians were meeting on that day long before the papacy came around to falsely claim they changed the sabbath day. Furthermore, Catholics can meet for church on Saturday as well as Sunday. Ellen White invented the idea that Sunday church attendance is taking the mark of the beast, therefore it is dangerous to trust your eternal destiny on her "revelations." It looks like the mark of the beast is going to be a digital tattoo or a microchip implant. Adventists looking for Sunday laws or believe in a Sunday mark will doom themselves should they take the real mark. Soul sleeping is a false doctrine. Jesus "brought life and immortality to light through the gospel(2 Tim. 1:10)." Therefore there's life immediately after death in which consciousness survives death. Jesus said that believers are passed from death unto life. Eternal life begins now in this life upon experiencing the new birth. New Testament examples are: When Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James and John, "there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him(Matthew 17:3)." The rich man and Lazarus were alive after death. Jesus said that the believing thief on the cross would go to paradise the day he died. Stephen the first martyr when about to die said, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit(Acts 7:59)." Hebrews 12:22-24 tells us who are in heaven, including the spirits of just men made perfect, that is, the disembodied believers from earth. This is also taught in 1 Thessalonians 4:14: "...them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."Therefore, Jesus is coming with his saints who are ALIVE and NOT ASLEEP. According to 2 Corinthians 5:6-9, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Since there is no soul sleeping in Christ, the bodies of believers will be resurrected at the coming of the Lord. Furthermore, in the book of Revelation there are 24 elders seen in heaven as well as other men as noted in chapter 15 verse 8. Concerning the no meat eating doctrine: It is "giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils forbidding to abstain from meats. (1Timothy 4:1,3)". Jesus ate fish and lamb.The early church Christians were told regarding food to "abstain from things strangled and from blood (Acts 15:20)."Jesus said, "Eat what's set before you, and it's not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, but what's in the heart;" and did not quote Mosaic dietary laws. Jesus taught an endless hell "where the fire is not quenched and the worm dieth not", but Ellen White taught annihilation or no hell instead. Consciousness survives death. It's safe to only follow the Lord...His sheep "know his voice and a stranger they will not follow (John 10:4, 5)." The investigative judgment is nowhere taught in scripture. She made it up after the Second Coming did not take place in 1843. This is another made up heresy invented by Ellen White. The U.S. in prophecy is the great eagle in Revelation 12:14, not the second beast of Revelation chapter 13. According to someone's testimony, they saw in hell the prophetess Ellen White in hell. Jesus said she is in this place for inventing heresies. She prophesied lies and still had connections with the satanists who helped [her] ministry grow. She also taught [her] members to keep the Sabbath stepping on My grace. Whoever wants to live in the law will have to never sinned. Whoever chooses to live in the law will have to save himself from it without committing any sin like Me. All the sects that reject My grace stare down the contract of the New Covenant. Whoever lives in the contract of the Old Covenant will be cursed and go to hell. Jesus said, "This woman Ellen White lied saying, 'There is no hell.' " She taught people hell does not exist, but when she died she landed in hell. Now she is in it and I saw how the demons tormented that woman. The more souls went down to hell because of her teaching, the more she was tormented. From the foundation of her sect until now, millions of souls are now coming to hell. Jesus said,"Testify most of its souls may come to salvation and ascend into heaven."

From the time eight plus years ago when He opened my eyes to His Shabbat, He has also made the way clear for me to keep it. That involved some major life changes, but it all has been a wonderful blessing and faith building experience. I wouldn’t return to my old life for anything in the world. Great teaching on a most important subject. More than any other, I think our desire to obey the fourth commandment shows just how serious we are about being His bride. My greatest challenge is that I raise flocks and herds of animals that would give me no Shalom on Shabbat if I didn’t feed or water them.

Please keep me in prayer Adonai has been good to me this past year my changes in my job so that I can at least attend Shabbat service but I'm still not off Friday through Saturday but I believe he will work that out for me in his timing

Hispanic people used to rent our old church on Saturdays fr church service. I used to ask why and when they told me why I immediately complained as a child that we should be going on Saturday. So many things they were doing backwards from the Bible. For a long time I lost my love and respect not only for the Bible and church by for God himself. Thank God he didn’t take his love from me! He knew I would become frustrated and distracted. He knew I had a good heart and I was a thinker. My environment didn’t slow for that kid of stuff. For real humanitarianism. I’m so happy I discovered Judaism. It perfectly aligns with me and the truth which is right where I’ve always wanted to be. I feel the presence of Jesus more and more each day. IT IS hard on SABBATH. "NOT" to do as I used to ( cook, clean, yard, wash clothes/vehicle, iron clothes, shop, visit, etc.). BUT since I've been going to Seventh Day Adventist of Mineral Springs, I really enjoy (again) going to church all day on the SABBATH. HOWEVER, with this CORONAVIRUS thing's happened, it's hard NOT being in service, so I enjoy Bro. Ivor Myers and 119 Ministries while sleeping in until after 18:01 (6:01 pm) when I go was, iron, cook, clean, and do what I can while I have daylight outside, then work inside. I really enjoy the ministry and make it a point to share the videos as much as I can to encourage others to "remember the SABBATH day and keep it HOLY". THNX, 119 Ministries, for the inspiration and encouragement. 🙏🙌👏🤓

The video shows modern day Pharisees more concerned with the letter of the Law than the spirit. They are actually wrong as if you look in the New Testament you see Sunday Worship If you look at contemporary writing from Justin Martyr etc (8 at least ) you see early Christians worshiping only on Sunday. Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life Worship him alone in HIS Catholic Church

It's more than just a physical act. It is deeper than that. It's spiritual. If you can spiritually murder then you can spiritually keep the Sabbath as well as the rest of the law. The law is spiritual. Romans 7:14 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

Jesus put some of the laws on a more spiritual level, thou shall not murder but I say if thou hatest your brother in your heart you've committed murder....adultery, if thou look at a women with lust...why would he expand on the laws when he said not one jot one one tittle.

That's why when he was on the cross he said, "it is finished" which means the law has been fulfilled so now we're no longer under the law of Moses but under the Law of Christ.(New Covenant)

I learned it at the age of 9 years, and quickly realized that there is no verse 17. I am sure that it was an innocent mistake which can be easily corrected.
