I had been looking for a good face cleanser for 2 years. I tested all the usual everyday products, a few excellent skincare brands. They were either too mild and did not cleanse the grime or they were drying and harsh. Some were making the skin to go in overdrive to produce more sebum to make up for lost moisture. I spent around 800 to 900 Rs but I remained determined to nail down the perfect one. Finally, tried this rice berry face wash by litttle extra. This is just right for me!! It's a gentle cleanser but cleans thoroughly. Zero over-drying or no leaving dirt behind either. Just the correct amount of cleansing. Love it.

I love this Cetaphil cleanser so much. I haven't had any pimples in months. I love that it doesn't have a "squeaky clean" effect after use, unlike other cleansers that strip away all the moisture in your skin. I also like that it has niacinamide. Of course, we all have a different type of skin. I have normal skin and I'm not acne prone, just some pimples in my chin area before, which this cleanser helped alleviate. I also don't wear makeup so I'm not using this cleanser to remove foundation and stuff.

@salonigoyal6185 I'm not big on skincare since I have normal skin. I just use a 10% niacinamide + hyaluronic acid serum and aloe vera gel after cleansing. I do that morning and night. I work from home and as an introvert, I don't go out much so I opted not to use sunscreen. 😅

​@@salonigoyal6185They probably use the serum from the brand, the ordinary. Though, if you want to keep it basic just use:cleanser and moisturizer at night, then moisturizer and sunscreen at daytime.Cetaphil and Cerave are both good brands.

@@Sugasugamm I'm mot a dermatologist and I suggest seeing one first if there are ongoing issues. Last year this time (winter) when my skin was tight/dry/cracked from excessive chemical exfoliation from products that also triggered my newly diagnosed eczema, I used mostly the gentle cleanser because I could not afford to strip my skin of any more moisture. Once my skin became more supple and the eczema was neutralized, because I also went to a dermatologist who prescribed the steroid, I started using the daily cleanser because I naturally have oilier skin and it was getting warm...so I needed something that wasn't harsh with a better cleanse especially for sweat and oils.

I dont think this cleanser alone will balancing any oily skin tbh. I tried it before without additional light toner & moisturizer. It's still oily as heck in couple of hours even when I have nothing to do in my room (without AC). Adding a light mositurizer what help me more..

If you live in a tropical country where its always sunny and you have very oily, acne prone skin.. this cleanser is not the best choice.. it feels like putting an oil on top of an oil.. my face feels like a mouse trap, super icky and sticky.. i just hate the feeling..
