Today, I'm testing the cheapest set I could find on the entire Internet: this kit from AliExpress only cost $8.56! Is it any good? Well, this will probably come as a shock, but... no, it's not.

so would it be worth getting some knives off aliexpress? or would it be cheaper and better to get the beavercraft ones, I know that getting blunt knives would take a lot more stuff to sharpen than a more quality knife but is it really worth it? Same thing goes for the leather strop, how much does the quality really matter? If I got a cheap sharpening leather strop and kit off aliexpress would it be much different from a more high quality brand for 20bucks instead of 4?

A little bit of two part epoxy down those holes and you may have less flex.

This is completely biased review. The blades are not pre-sharped out of box for safety reasons. You will need to strop it before use. And if you are going to say it probably won’t hold the edge without testing it, why are you reviewing it at all?

have you ever used, any, decent whittling knives? they come razor sharp with a sponge protection. and trust me i have used chinese cheapos tho a little pricier than this one on video. those ones dont hold the edge as well. you get what you pay for. how long can you hold your ego, my chinese friend?😅

You should have put the link to where to buy these,, 🤔 also, maybe you should have put a good edge on the blades, and given them some hard use, and then put out the video,, This is virtually an "unboxing" and not very informative...
