I have had my 22' CT5-VBW for almost 2 years and just discovered that my car has this option. I will try it out later today to see how it works. Good video. My salesman never showed me about this and its a $1100 option !

I’m so happy it didn’t work when trying to do the parallel parking. I tried to use it for perpendicular parking for the first time a couple days ago with one car near me and it wouldn’t work. I thought something was wrong with my CT5-V. To be honest, the system needs to be improved. More of a hassle to do this than just park yourself

Nothing is wrong at all. It can be a pain sometimes especially when parking in a busy parking lot. Easier and more time effective to park yourself.

well you don't suppose to parallel on the left it would be in the wrong way. I have never used once the self park function in my green 20 CT5-V AWD platium, just too slow

It’s weird because the car has the option for a parallel on the left. I hear you, the self park function does take a while compared to parking it yourself. It is convenient if you’re looking to just sit back and let the car take the wheel
