For any of you guys that know from experience, are the trim packages negotiable? I really just want the interior features of the premium luxury (the leather seats with heating and ventilation and the wood trim) but I don’t want a $6,000 jump in price. I’m a first time car buyer for reference.

You'd have to buy a "Delorean" and go back to 1985 . . . most options now days come in packages, and there isn't any way to split them up.

I really wanted to like this enough to buy it but there's no plug in hybrid option. If the V6 luxury came with 50 miles of EV range or at least a hybrid to boost MPG not only would it be even faster (I know it's fast now) it would attract more buyers. These days 27 mpg highway is not enough when it's competitors like BMW get 36 mpg (M330xi). The CT6 used ot have a plug in hybrid but of course GM dumped it..

I would like to say this in a kind way I listen to everybody what kind of cars they have I had so many different sports, cars, and fast cars. Everyone had a problem, so no matter what you get you’ll have a problem whatever the car is believe me I only buy brand new and I’ve always had problems with every goddamn car I bought so let’s not complain about this shit.

I love the car but the one I bought is unreliable. Bought the CT5 V6 Premium Luxury in January 2023. A few months ago I needed Cadillac Roadside Assistance to change the battery. Just would not start. They found nothing wrong. A month later My DIC shows a steering assist reduced, Drive with care message in my driveway. Then another one, Service power steering, No assist soon. Nothing wrong. The car has less than three thousand miles and now seven months old. I can't trust it. When it runs, it's great but??? I'm probably going to trade it in for a Tahoe, although I really don't like SUVs. A modern day station wagon. Don't know what else to get.
