Tom you have a more interesting and better finished Inglenook than my effort!! I removed one hook off the loco end of my puzzle wagons and weighted them all to Iain Rice's recommended axle loading. Which cured derailing and made uncoupling easier with a tiny magnet glued well up into the end of a dowel. The air gap to stop the magnet pulling the wagon off the tracks. My loco is a cobbled M W class H, 0-4-0.

You've really done a superb job with this layout Tom, it's wonderful to see it all come together and working so well. Add to that your marvellous locos and stock, and you've really got something you can be proud of!

Fantastic! Beautiful set-up. Might you post a video that explains the levers on the front fascia and the assortment of toggle switches on the top face plate - including how you created the under-the-benchwork design. That would be a lot of fun to see in detail. Well Done!!!

Thanks - I may do an update in the future on some of the controls.

That would be great. It's a sharp looking set-up, and it would be enjoyable to see how you put it all together.

Nice one !!! Any chance you could let me know how you did the uncoupling system. I think that it's well worth spreading the love of that idea on a video.

I love the layout - it's so natural and looks wonderful. You captured that pre-group look excellently - effortlessly?
