If you don't wanna sleep in this, just dry your hair, roll it up while it's hot, then let it cool and take out. Works like a charm.

Just got mine and I followed exactly what Mindy said about not pulling the hair where I can see for the second and third rod and it worked out well. I've tried the long foam road where you twist the hair around, tried socks, leggings, flexi rods inside socks, but nothing worked. My hair always looked wonky in the back. Tried the top part for literally 5 mins earlier and it looked amazing. Excited to take this out in a couple of hours.

My mom used to do this to her hair-exactly this-with huge curlers and then tie it up in the scarf. Her hair always looked spectacular. Back in those days, women would go shopping and out and about with the curlers in and scarf on. Nothing stopped setting that hair on wash day.

I get great results without blowdrying or adding heat. I feel this defeats the whole point of heatless styling or heatless blowout/curls. Just wait for your hair to be 90-95% dry slight cold dampish hair then roll! Next day should be volumous and bouncy. Longer you leave your hair rolled up the better the result. Doing this each night will enhance and keep the curl and volume in. Hope this helps

One thing I noticed about heatless curls is the success really depends on the layering you have in your hair. I had a haircut that had more layering and they would turn out really nicely, but as soon as I decided to get a different hairstyle (more of a blunt cut) pretty much every heatless method out there has been useless and a waste of time. This might be coupled with the fact that I already have wavy/curly hair and my hair just might have a mind of its own when it comes to manageability. 😅

I bet you if you used strategic product on 80% dry hair to minimize the frizz of course of no heat, and then slept on it, it would set way better, hold longer and give a ton more volume and bounce! Doing it on dry hair won't make the set as good because its counter productive when doing "heatless" setting also know as "wet setting". It looks fabulous, but just to maximize the hold.

Even though I have thick hair I try putting more hair in the first roller so that I don't have to use a third one and sleep comfortably just with 2 on top of my head. Or you can even do the top piece and the other 2 as two side buns on top of your head

You could also accomplish this with molten browsers if you could find a large enough size, OR you could use a smaller molten browner for a tighter curl and potentially more volume.
