Primers usually don't really "blur" your pores on their own -the whole point is to provide a smoother base for foundation. So it doesn't sink into your pores the same way.

EVERYONE loves Loreal mascaras. The carbon black voluminous celebrities talk about. Tons of youtubers talk about lash paradise. Every time im in the store i always stop and stare at the bambi eye one. And now the air volume commercials got me and i bought that one and actually really like it. You always cheer me up on days when my depression and anxiety is bad or when my health problems flare up and I'm in so much pain. I only recently (past 2 months) found out that watching the ads, pays you not the company. So now for my fav youtubers (you are def one of my top 3), I make sure I do not skip any ads. Wow your lashes with that mascara, they look great. The lip things, like the colours but I agree with you and worry about the practicality of them. Have you tried the holo taco nail varnishes?

I've been using this loreal mascara for a good 6-8 year's lol once you've used it a few more times it becomes less clumpy but it's amazing and I always get compliments on my lashes as I've got long lashes and this mascara really does wonders for my lashes aha xx

OMG, the Loreal Telescopic Mascara brings back so many memories! I remember that being the first mascara I bought all the way back to 2007 when I were 12. Back then it was so cool to have the smokey eye look. Many girls would put that mascara on and go to sleep without washing it off so that you would have "perfectly blended" smokey eyes in the morning. What a time to be alive! 😂😂😂

I have the telescopic mascara. I find if you do the first coat with the brush so that the curve goes down (ie like a smile) they lengthen and then swap and do a coat with the curve the opposite way (ie like a frown) and they thicken too!

It's so interesting how certain products work really well for some & not for others! The original elf putty primer is seriously the only primer that's ever made a difference in the longevity of my makeup on my incredibly oily skin. I'm also glad I saw your review of the new fenty glosses...I'll admit I was intrigued, but as someone who wears predominantly reds & berries, I don't want a full pigment lip gloss anywhere near me! I think that's why I liked the original gloss bombs for days when I didn't have time to properly apply my lipstick - they're super flattering & not finicky to wear all day 🖤 xx

I think pore minimizing primers are more for reducing the pores after foundation. Because they are clear, they don't make them look different without foundation

When I bought the regular putty primer, you have to place the primer on your face and smooth it out upward motion. Not downward and circling. Yes like you said almost like pushing it in but go upward. Because I have all sizes pores. And combination skin. It works well but everyone is different. Live your channel! Thank you for posting

For the primer, I find that if you press it into your skin rather than rubbing it in, you may find better results. I still don't think it is the best though. I love all of your content

I found I had to sort of swirl the pad of my finger around in the balm to sort of warm it up and loosen the consistency and then it went onto my skin a lot nicer. It works well on a minimal makeup day, I will just put the primer on and then a touch of loose powder.

Soph, my husband and I think our bulldog puppy has a little crush on you 😍Whenever I play one of your videos he comes running into the room and jumps up so his face is right in front of the screen and will watch intently and even give the screen a little smooch😘. If I try to turn it off or walk away he cries and paws at my phone so today I had to just leave my phone on the bed with him with your videos playing so I could get things done around the house. hey soph! first of all, loved the video! Also, I just caught up with your last one and heard you said that your period pain is still pretty bad (I remember you've talked about it quite a few times before). I never wanted to say anything because I don't mean to scare you or to intrude in your personal life/health. I just wanted to tell you I hope you get better and to suggest you get checked. I remember you once said you suspected you might have endometriosis, and yes, I know the only effective way to fully diagnose it is via a surgery, but know that you can also get an MRI that will tell you if there's a possibility. The reason I'm saying this is because I have been recently diagnosed with it and I want to spread awareness. When speaking about anxiety you always say that you kept going back to the doctor until they actually helped you, and following that advice is what helped me get treatment as well, which is why I want it to come full circle to you and give back some of what you've given us. I know how horrible periods can get, and again I'm so sorry you have to go through that. Please don't take this de wrong way, I hope this isn't offensive, and I by no means mean to scare you or tell you there's something wrong with you. Only you know what you're doing about it and how you feel, I just wanted to say this in case it helps.

With the putty primer I've noticed the more you use the better it works. Make sure to let it dry (like a minute) before applying makeup since it's going to be a larger amount used.

Hey Sophie, love your channel. 💚 I use the elf regular putty primer. It does help your foundation apply better and last longer. However, I don’t know that it does a huge amount for my pores. I really liked the elf matte putty primer on you. Yes to the Charlotte Tilbury. Yes to the L’Oréal Telescopic mascara. While the Fenty gloss was pretty, I’d vote no on that. There needs to be a way to control the product better. Pinky is so pretty, my dogs bring me a lot of joy and peace. 🎄🎄🎄

I've been using the telescopic for years, when I first used it around 11 years ago is hard a small round brush.. since then whenever I've had it its had the same as the brush on this one.. however I preferred the round brush, it made my stubby lashes look so long!
