I'm 38 years old and recently started wrestling training a few months ago, not expecting to make it big but just want to have fun doing something i've always thought would be awesome and so far it is. discovered these videos a few weeks ago and they're really insightful and eye-opening!

Hows it going?
@Darothane20244 жыл бұрын
@@RendMaim it was going well until COVID hit and unfortunately in the few months between lockdowns I was struggling financially so unable to make any sessions but then it all closed down again because of COVID so fingers crossed i'll get back to it soon!

@@Darothane2024 well that's goddamn admirable, I've always chickened out of trying it myself even though it's always been a dream of mine..but since I'm 35 and pretty much out of shape (45m cardio + 45m strength resistance 3 times a week but overweight 230lbs at 5'11" type 1 diabetic with light neuropathy and retinopathy) so I'd just be a fool to just go in and hurt myself or worse someone else. I doubt I could take the pain, quite the subject of many depressions in my case but eh story of my life. Wish I had your courage and determination. Good luck to ya!

I have a tremendous amount of respect for CD and his knowledge. I've had the pleasure of working with him many times over the last few years and he is so genuine and humble. It's pretty evident in this video too. I've linked my students to this video to compare my description of match structure and compare it to CD's. There are differences but it's pretty universal. And one of the toughest things to learn in pro wrestling. Great video.

Listening to CD talk, and knowing his career and what he can do just makes he want to see him in a John Wick movie.

As a fan, this is truly insightful. I saw CD wrestle in NY in the early 2000s and he really can wrestle well and tell a story.

Didn't know Daniels had a theater background. Awesome! Been wanting to see that for awhile, as they fit so well theater and wrestling.

Great guy, smart guy. Also the reason why Cody chose him to work with Stephen Amell for their match.Also he makes a great point about the titles, look how little crap we cared about the Universal Championship when Brock held it and we didn't see him or it for months at a time during his "reign" didn't care about it when he was gone, didn't really care about it when he showed up and it took a few months after someone took it off of him for us to start caring again, and even not the title that now means the most to people is the 24/7 one because of R-Truth and Drake Maverick mostly

after watching cd speak, as a person he should be a trainer of his own school.

Yeeeeees that beginning part is HUGE. That's why I like listening to various veterans. I'm trying to amalgamate everything into what would work for me (in theory, obviously. My body would break *so fast.) It's neat to hear the rules, so to speak, or the trends, and then figure out _when people have figured out when not to follow those things_. Not so much about bumping, but smaller things like moving around and so on. And by getting more experience, broad experience, _that's how you can figure that stuff out_.

Exceptional video, I know this is old, but what in the HECK were the people in the background doing? lolol it was almost distracting, like extras in a movie trying to be noticed.

Daniels is a pretty dude for a wrestler, at least facially. That profile!😱 He looks more like a screen-actor than a prowrestler, which I suppose is fitting as he is a trained dramatic actor. Wrestlers are often horribly busted in the face no matter how good or attractive their physique or technique, so Daniels has always had an extra edge in that regard (to go with his talent and intelligence).
