Great review. I purchased Rocket Spanish about 2 years ago and found myself getting bored after about 1 month into the program. I put it “on the shelf”. After your review, I should have stuck with it. I probably would be able to have a conversation by now instead of looking for another program. I’m going back to Rocket Spanish with a determination to stick with the program.

Eduardo really likes TPI's Rocket and Rosetta Stone comparison. Very thorough. Makes the purchase decision much easier. Hi, as a bilingual person I can tell you that rocket is the best option because learning a language more than repetition is based on the content and feedback. Practice is the key

I think that you get 25 languages from Rosetta Stone with lifetime subscription is a huge advantage and makes it useful long into the future. When you feel that you can't advance more in one language you have 24 more to learn!

I'd love to learn a language because I think watching foreign films / reading works of literature is 100x better if you're able to do it in the original language. Subtitles will have to do for now though 😅

In my opinion Rosetta Stone is very repetitive, it makes you wanna close the app not even 3 minutes into the lesson and makes you wanna go study your language somewhere else. It also relies heavily on visuals and doesn’t show any English translations. Meanwhile on the other hand Rocket looks very effective and you could listen to the audio lessons on the go just like Pimsleur!

RS is kind of like printer companies that sell their printers cheap because the ink and printer heads are expensive or a subscription. RS I signed up and found the lessons moved too fast throwing new words in phrases they haven't covered. But then I started getting hit with many emails from RS pushing me to sign up for monthly one on one mentoring. So their program is inexpensive, but IMO you need a mentor to make it work. Also I got frustrated and wanted to restart the course but I found out there is no easy way to back up. I wish I knew about Rocket when I got going trying to learn Spanish and spent my money on RS.

Yep. That's a pretty good synopsis of Rosetta. It's a good program, but you have to be game for being immersed. Frustrates some people. That's part of the reason we like Rocket better. Thanks for watching!
