Thank you again for all these videos. I recently purchased the new re-designed Moonshine Epiphany 2wt and the Teton 5/6 Classic (I put the Rio Tactical Nymph with integrated leader). The combo has exceeded my expectations. I could really feel the bottom and caught numerous trout without issue. Moonshine was extremely fast shipping the rod and it also came with a spare tip. The Teton reel has great drag and I love the full cage for the thinner lines. I have tried other low/mid priced euro rods and this combo is by far my favorite!

I have the Teton classic 7/8 with a spare Spool for full sink. A Teton classic 5/6, I plan to get the Teton classic 3/4 this year, great reels! They are American made, Machined! Large Arbor! Salt and fresh water! Neoprene case! Free shipping, won't break the bank. Best reel IMO...

Hey Richard, Thanks for video. I just bought the Epiphany 4w 10' and was wondering if I should get the 3-4w reel or 5-6w because of the larger arbor. This video helped me make a decision on 5-6w. Hows the reel doing for you after a year? It looks pretty bulletproof.

The reel is still great- A little finicky if you remove the spool and try to reseat it however. But still going strong- not the best drag but totally sufficient (not catching bonefish on it)

That was cool. Was the small fish on the first fly and got off and the brown on the second?

Yes--I have seen this happen a few times. The big Browns get really excited by the action of a hooked fish and swim in to investigate. Then they hit the second fly thinking it is easy eats!

Reel is still my favorite for euronymphing- I did see that Reddington has a new reel that may be worth looking at. "the Reddington TILT"-

@@richardboesel I have seen it and I do love Redington...I have two rise reels, one zero, and one behemoth. I don't Euro nymph...I'm mostly interested due to the American-made aspect. Thinking about getting one and a Sage foundation to pair together, but I could go with another Redington Zero.
