Tetra Hearing Protection Review - The Best Hearing Protection For Hunting?

You always do such an exceptional job on your reviews! This is a subject near and dear to both my heart & ears! I've warn hearing aids for three decades now, and my last three pairs have BlueTooth enabled capability, so I can answer phones and stream. But they don't cut down the noise of a gun blast. I have to put my existing aids on mute mode, then use over the ear muffs for protection, so that doesn't help with turkey hunting. My big question for the owner doctors at TETRA, can these aids be programmed to my hearing loss? I can still probably pick up a set of STARKEY's completely in the canals for around $500 or $600 to replace the ones I lost during Hurricane Sandy, so the TETRA's seem expensive, to someone who spends $3K to $4k for a new set every 3 - 4 years.

Great review as always. I have 2 questions 1. How do you know what settings that you are putting them on? 2. Can you use you insurance to help pay for them?

i can't see many springing that kind of money for hearing protection. there are other options out there that work well at a fraction of the cost

These are definitely not cheap, but I will say that the technology and quality are far above the others I’ve tried. I’ve had mine almost 2 years now and wear them every time I hunt it shoot.
