My guess for the Noelle walking sprite at 17:20 is it was meant to be used during the scene where Noelle and Kris are walking side by side in that long hallway. From where she is in those scenes, she would look left to face Kris while walking. She looks like she's looking left, not down to me. If you don't see it, pay attention to the antlers.

Now, I think spoilers in a video like this makes a ton of sense and should be shown to give full context, but saying that they won’t be there just for them to be there is dumb. instead of saying “I’ll try to avoid major spoilers” he should have said “major spoiler warning, because spoilers are needed to give context to the information we’ll be discussing”. because doing this is just lying to lead people into a false sense of security for a bit more watch time.

It's highly probable the queen wasn't planned to make it into the castle town, and maybe she was even planned to be an antagonist from beginning to end at this point.

At 17:20 I know what that sprite is for. Sometimes Noelle will have a spite which has her head slightly tilted to the right, usually when she's looking at something peculiar (like Susie's tail) or as a way to express confusion. I believe this animation is that sprite but from a side perspective of her. I could be wrong but that makes the most sense to me.

That is its laughing face, which happens if you wait for the music to make the pictures laugh. If you give Susie the gift, it's supposed to end up in her room in Castle Town but the flag (307) is force set to 1 during the swan ride (so it thinks you gave the gift to Ralsei). There is unused text for the swan ride if flag 307 is set to other numbers, and Susie's gift is a small Susie doll that goes in the gap at the top of the room. You can see it if you set Flag 307 to 2, which is line 860 in the Chapter 2 save.

Okay, so I might be CRAZY, but Susie’s sprites (at least on the sheet rip on spriter’s resource) have sprites for all of Susie’s battle animations (excluding rude buster) with her eyes visible. I know a couple are used in some cutscenes, but I’ve always found it weird that no one mentions them. well, either that, or i’m stupid and they’re sprite edits.
