I've been binging this guy's videos for a few days. When he says he does these videos for us he really means it. This video is a good example when he could've used his vacuum setup for the hydro fluid but says we probably don't have that option so he didn't use it and the spring compression with the zip ties. Those types of things are all throughout his videos. He is truly trying to help people, the average guy out there that doesn't have thousands of dollars to throw at a dealer or just guys that would prefer to do it themselves or guys out on site that need to get it fixed fast. Overall I would be willing to bet this channel has saved people hundreds of thousands in repair costs. Whatever money he's made on these videos which is probably not much he deserves more. He's not out making videos just to show off what he knows and what he can do. He has a wealth of knowledge and he's great at passing that knowledge on in an easy to understand way. It's so awesome this knowledge will be preserved for the foreseeable future in video form. If you are reading this, thanks brother I appreciate you and these videos.

U are so helpful, and I can honestly say that I haven’t found a youtuber who knows these machines better than you. There is only one reason why you don’t have more subs that’s the KZbin algorithm. What oil do you use for hydro oil? I bought a used machine with no manual and there seems to be a debate on what oil to use. I have an S175 that is very similar to your machine and this pump video is really helpful and confidence inspiring.
@tetradgroup3 жыл бұрын
Well thank you for the comment. Yes there's always going to be debate on what hydraulic oil to use. I personally use bobcat hydraulic oil. It is more expensive and it comes out to about an ISO 40 weight. However the Bobcat oil has a much higher zinc content for lubrication. If you were to lose hydraulic oil such as a busted hose or another issue you would want that high zinc content to protect the internal components if something were to happen. Not perfect but peace of mind if you can stick with the Bobcat oil.

I appreciate your videos! I have a 743B. I was using it very roughly digging out a stump with a lot of tilting forward and backward of machine. Banging down sometimes. Now loader only goes up. Goes down extremely slowly. One time it went down normal if I shut off engine. Tilt doesn't move either. I suspect something in the spool valve. I don't mind paying for your assistance through email or phone if required. It may be spaced out so I thought I should contact you first for how that would work. Thank You, Duane

Question u mentioned that ur bobcat creeps forward I was wondering how did u fix that I have a 753 and was wondering how to fix it
@tetradgroup3 жыл бұрын
It might be time for a steering rebuild however you can buy some time by adjusting the steering blocks on top of the pumps. They're probably worn and have some slop between the block and the bearings. It's not hard to do, it's just a little difficult to explain. Start by raising the machine off the ground, start the machine lower the arm bar release the brakes and then raise the cab at this point the side that creeps should be spinning freely off the ground. You'll see the centering blocks on top of the pump you'll need a 9/16 wrench to loosen the bolts just barely and then tap the bolts with a hammer to push the block tighter against the bearings until the steering becomes perfectly neutral. This is a very vague explanation but maybe it'll make sense once you look at it closer.

Can you replace a roller bearings on the steering triangle without removing the whole assembly? my 863 version has a Allen key bolt securing the roller bearing, which is accessible, though looks like there is nut below it which may not be captured based on the parts diagram. Did not know if I try taking it apart if the nut will fall out without disassembling it first? The 863 has a hydraulic line running through the middle of its steering plate.
@tetradgroup2 жыл бұрын
That has a center charge pump on it however you can still remove the plate and just spin it around the line and remove the triangles. That's going to be the easiest way.
