For those who care, the subtitles on the bottom says: Tetris THE GRAND MASTER 4 “Thank you, Ofuna Power Stick version” It’s once(?) as hard as the normal version (lol) *Ofuna Power Stick - a former game arcade in Ofuna (near Kamakura, Kanagawa) It closed in November 2009

This isn't the first time this was in a Tetris game. The arcade exclusive sequel to Tetris Plus had an Endless Mode with bricks with letters on them that you needed to collect to spell out a word. When you collect all the letters of given word, you are rewarded with an anime illustration.

looks like they were trying to attract more girls to play this in the arcades, I see why this version was scrapped, but I wish they'd make a real successor to TGM3.

Um, no. It was actually due to more restrictive guidelines by the Tetris Company on how the games could be handled. See Tetris the Grand Master ACE on Xbox 360...

@@lemonbread8019 I don't think that was the issue. Ti was made during the time when guideline gameplay was being made a thing, and got around it with world rule. They could have just done world rule again.
