There was an awkward moment of silence from me as I processed the fact that I'd probably said a really wrong thing. Then she exclaimed loudly and joyfully: "YES !!!" and proceeded to tell me how much she enjoyed her freedom and her life and not having to be married anymore. I had an education that day!

I've seen the reality of enough long-term marriages to know that time does not equal success. He was going to die no matter what as surely as rich and charming Mr Big was going to swoop in at the last possible second to marry New York City's most ridden least loyal bicycle long after that horses fertility window slammed closed on it's elongated face.

@@jonathanallard2128 What do you mean "dumb enough to be fooled changing the subject"? I'm not trying to fool anybody or change the subject. What you said is true, but that's not the real reason. James Cameron and them said so explicitly, but with more tact and grace that I did. The original post I made is a meme joke, not a serious complaint by me, since 1) it's just a movie and 2) I've worked in entertainment and know a bit about how the sausage was made. But then your accurate yet overly autistic reply came, taking it all way too seriously, and seemed comical in it's own right. That evoked an equally autistic and overly technically accurate reply from me. Note: I'm not denigrating you if you are actually autistic or whatever, the whole thing was just a bit of fun. This was on a comedy video after all. For what it's worth, check out Owen Benjamin's Titanic standup. It's hilariously on point. It's no My Little Pony, but you'll still probably like it as he's more technically accurate there than both of us put together. 😂
