I’m glad it’s you doing the repairs to these flat screen TV’s. Here in the United States, they’ve become very inexpensive to buy so most people simply discard them and buy another one at a big box retailer. I’m a trained, home electronics repair technician and it’s no longer worth the hassle to fix these things. If I were to attempt fixing them, customers buying them would want a warranty on it which cannot be given. It’s all become disposable.

Excellent technique, since the dc voltage due to the short circuit enters protection, and inserting a bench source for testing also enters protection, but with the source rectified with the diodes and capacitor it does not enter protection, which is why the component heats up. Brasil RJ.

Comment for support channel. Can you please tell if there is the same problem, LG65UP7670 2021 year TV - has just backlighting is shown in not whole display covering view as normal but almost only 3/4 of standart covering and Audio sounds when turned On , some other guy done some useful video with this LG TV's problem ,there is some kind flex contact short-circuited and he mention what it killed some electronic component/s on the LCD motherboard ,so he still doesn't responded about my question : If its possible to repair that components on LCD motherboard if its burned already or if is already burned once so there is no point to try to repair it and its better to use method of covering some flex contacts on the broken flex with a tape and ofc this will be like an temporary cratches repair type with reducing the signal quantity over that flex cable by lovering some quality, resolution or any other type of useful signal for Display? Sorry what so long and hard to understand maybe , I'm not native language talker .😅

Удаление элементов нешьзя назвать ремонтом . Супрессор вышел из строя не просто так , а видимо из за превышения напряжения 3.3V . Он по сути спас матрицу тем что сработал и пробился . Следующий такой бпосок напряжения и спасать будет нечего , если защитный диод просто удалили.
