Mike Elko brings such a different vibe than Jimbo. He is so much more cerebral and thoughtful than Jimbo. It's like Jimbo was stuck in a time warp and couldn't get out. I love how Elko is open-minded to technology and new ways of approaching the job. If Elko can have the same level of success as Slocum, then we should be a perennial playoff team.

What is refreshing is Coach Elko not interrupting the interviewer! How many times did previous coach would start talking before the reporter even finished talking.

We're so disillusioned with Texas A&M football right now that only one game matters. Win one game...that's the only expectation that I have for the program.

hopefully it is the Texas game

Pay for play is here to stay. Very few want the degrees and the scholarships anymore. I think we will see a lot of these 5⭐️ entitled guys have a hard crash. Not many are mature enough like a Christian Kirk to handle it all..

Coach Elko should answer for RB1. Being injured!! I'm sure he was made aware of A&M player's Horrible injury records, an they continue with his Staff!! All they're asking of him is [DO YOUR JOB] player's should not become injured in a controlled practice environment. The goal is progress, and improvement!! Injury should not be part of that process!! An if he doesn't get that he should consult with Coach FISHER!!!😮😢🎉😂

Love coach Elko! He looks like Kevin from the Office😂😂

Mike, please reverse the "ghetto" and "selfish" culture that seems to have grown under Sumlin and Fisher. That is not the spirit of Aggie land. We need less wanna be rappers and more hardnose discipline.

Ghetto meaning our players getting arrested for drug and weapons charges, fights in the locker room, all the suspensions, etc

@@christopherdouglas646he’s literally saying we need to make sure less of our players get arrested.

Wiegman is garbage, please upgrade
@richardwalker49039 ай бұрын
LOL!! Before he got injured, he had the highest QBR in the nation, passed for almost 1,000 yards, 8 TDs and only 2 INTs in just three games with a TON of dropped passes and a sieve for an O-Line. And he won the ELITE QB Challenge over Quinn Ewers. So, we have yet to see what he can actually do. Now, I'm for whichever QB can lead this team, but I believe that Weigman definitely has the higher ceiling and he certainly isn't garbage🤣

Garbage??? Based on what? He's got 16 TDs vs 2 Int (one was a tip from the receiver) as a starter in essentially 6 games. Last year, before getting injured, he had nearly 70% completion, 1000 yards and his Rating was 156.8. He's a preseason Heisman candidate. He can read defenses at an elite level, escape the pocket, has a quick release, doesn't put the team behind the chains, can make all the throws with accuracy, and scores TDs in the red zone. What a bad take...
