Philip sayce is a complete beast in his own way. Tommy is honestly one of the closest players to play note for note what stevie would. Stevie's playing lives inside this man and his voice is pure stevie. Philip is one of my idols and favorite players but when it comes to stevie tommy is definitely the man.

Phil doesn't have an SRV voice but he sure has a damn good voice.....Just as good as SRV just tonally different...... And If your an SRV fan it's not about lick for lick because SRV never played it the same twice. Btw when it comes to feel, raw energy and explosiveness. Philip checks those boxes big time... like no one else. This guy tommy could never match Sayce energy and playability.....
