Love it when guys fix up the real plain jane cars like the baby blue '65 Ford Custom 300. Hate to be negative but the '30s truck with the '57 Chrysler rear clip looks so wrong. Was gonna say maybe shorten the rear overhang about a foot. That may help. Also cut the wheel arches out and move them up a few inches.Might help too if the fins could be slanted upward, higher as you go back. I'm not judging, I made a couple customs in high school that were not pleasing to the eye. Good luck with it whoever you may be.

Yes, that's the "southern accent", I live in North Carolina, the accent is similar stronger in the mountains area. I love it. I'm an immigrant, I can't talk like them, I wish I could, to integrate more to the NC locals, they are very nice people, they don't care about my foreign accent, but I'd like to talk like them.

I agree. What's the point in having a truck or SUV if you can't take it off-road? Then again, I live in Texas, and practically everyone here has a truck. Very few ever haul anything more than groceries, let alone go off-road, so why not lower it?

I live in Maine where pickups out number cars, most of them get used as trucks. Our roads aren't flat and smooth so lowered to less than 6 inches clearance is guaranteed to rip something off the bottom. Just my opinion that lowered way down is ugly and very impractical.
