17-year-old Madison Sheats & her 22-year-old sister Taylor were shot and killed by their mother on June 24, 2016. We may never know what caused Christy Sheats to open fire on her family that day, or why she spared her husband Jason, who was also home when the gunfire began.
Days after the shootings, Dr. Drew and a panel of legal and mental health experts discuss the shocking events on HLN.

Hearing the 911 call, you can clearly hear Jason pleading with his wife, promising her anything to stop the shooting. Her reply "NO!! TOO LATE!" @@DaRkHoRsE-_- yeah I agree! She was a disgusting woman and so nothing she said was of any importance to me! Oh my a hand gun in the home so surprising? Give me a break! My husband has a glock under his pillow, my AR10 is within easy reach to me and my mini 14 is sitting next to my bed. Break into my house and good luck to you! You better talk fast! I live in Oklahoma and we have the lovely make my day law! I’m sixty and have never needed to shoot anyone nor do I wish to but I won’t be a willing victim either. Was driving home and couldn’t turn because a man was beating his girlfriend in the middle of the road! I started to just go around but my daughter wouldn’t let me. I picked up the glock on my console and put in a clip and started toward him when I saw two cowboys had stopped and had rifles aimed on him but no one was going to shoot him because he grabbed his toddler out of the back and was using her as a shield while he continued beating his tiny wife with his legs and free hand. She was so beat up she had broken bones and couldn’t see out of her eyes. He had beat her that badly. The paramedics showed up and the scum ran off on foot with a toddler. The police got him. When I gave the police my testimony I showed him my gun and he said next time shoot him in the legs! He said look you would want someone to help you so you have to stop and help her. We can’t always get here in time and you have to protect each other! I wonder what the liberal blonde would want if someone was beating her to that point? They want to be rid of police? They want to make criminals the victims? The result will be gun owners protecting themselves! Now where this murdering Mom is concerned why did the father not turn a gun on her instead of being her victim?

She interrupts him and that is ok but when he wanted to finish his statement after she interrupted she called him “mansplaining”. Then she looks at her watch multiple times being just rude and childish. She brought gender conflicts into the conversation by claiming he was “mansplaining” which disgusts me and made me lose any and all respect for her from that point forward. Anyone who does that needs to go. Lean on your facts and conversation skills rather than bring gender, race or sexuality in your attempt to shut down the person you are speaking with.

The mom did this on the Dad's birthday. In her mind for whatever reason this was solely and completely about her rage or hate against her husband. This program originally aired in 2016, I wonder what info has come out since then and how the Dad is now doing??

Has everything to do with her relationship with her husband and some sort of revenge seeking to intentionally hurt him for the rest of his life and leave him suffering and helpless/hopeless. This was her plan all along and it is not related to mental illness. Geez

This is something that is absolutely inexcusable but to say, as if it's a fact (something you can't possibly know) that it's not mental illness when common sense would tell you a sane person would never do this to their own children is ridiculous. You must not be a mother because no mother could wrap their head around the idea that a mentally sane mother would take the innocent lives of her children because mentally sound people do not kill people for no reason and they do not kill their own kids.

STATISTICALLY, women do not harm their children. Historically women do not harm their children. What don't you get about that? Just like women are statistically and historically not serial killers. There are some of course but it's rare. Women rarely hurt, harm their children. Do your own research.

Dr. Drew & Ms. Bloom miss the point. In heavily gun controlled countries we here of numerous stories where men on a rampage kill numerous people with knives. In fact, England & Wales, in 2019 there were 43,516 knife crime offences in 12 months ending in March 2019. This was an 80% increase spanning over 5yrs. Interestingly enough, most of the violent attacks involved no weapons. These stats did not include murder by poison. Getting back to the states; neither one mentioned the decapitation of that poor woman at an OK food plant. Yup, right here in the states. She wasn't able to "run away". I get so tired of people "stacking the deck" & going after a person w/different perspectives. Bradford Cohen said nothing about letting a mentally unstable person retain firearms. Why not ask why her "doctor" & husband allowed them to be kept in the house? I'm for gun ownership but not for the mentally feeble. My late father-in-law was a drunk & a danger to society & when my late husband discovered what he did when drunk, he had the cops remove his dad's guns from his dad's household. This was way back in the 70's. Seems like more people than ever don't have the sense that God gave a billy goat!
